I tend to not read them while I am writing. However, that has more to do with the fact I have very little free time, and if I'm currently writing/editing a story, I try to use my free time on that.
I enjoy the contests, and enjoy seeing the different directions people take their stories.

Also, when writing your resume, utilize action verbs.

So when I ask you questions tell me all the great details about yourself, and better yet, use examples to illustrate those points. "I remember this one time (insert problem that relates here*, I (insert the action you did to help) and (insert the result)." This shows experience, and critical thinking skills while selling you.
Smile. Again, you are selling yourself, and nothing sells better then a smile.

Im also in a similar boat. I have the iPhone, and really want to stay in the evil empire. I like my apple products, and they work for me as I just want to be able to utilize my device. But I also need to upgrade soon, as I need a program fro school that is not supported by my current phone/operating system/available space. Im really thinking for myself I will just get the ipad, and wait until the next iphone comes out to upgrade.

oh okie, I just looked and see that only some of those people got RR's. Again, don't know how that works. Think the others should get them too.
RR's are not automatic awards. They are handed out by individual story mods who believe that story deserves it. After the contest ends, the mods can award them to those they particularly remember. I have always found that to receive an RR on a comp entry can be a greater honor then a regular RR as it means the mod remembered the story and came back to it, not a mean feat considering the numbers of stories the mods see.
