seriously - don't get me started
a Tom Cruise exception - in "Magnolia" - hilariously entertaining self-caricature
a Nicholas Cage exception - I didn't mind "him"/"them" in "Adaptation"
I'm pretty sure the trailer for "Eraserhead" that I saw eons ago was completely silent.
incredibly goofy-looking (yet torturous) on-the-spot cardio thing and weights six days a week.
"Skeptical Inquirer" bookmarked - thanks.
nice to come across some lucid thinking now and then
great - so not only did I not get ONE. FRICKING. WINK. OF. SLEEP. last night, but I was also hit with what I call a "night terror" ("sleep paralysis" in wikipedia). I've been hit by them maybe five times in my life, and each time.....
When one of them happens, I'm usually in a semi-sleepy state, and always (I think) on my back when one comes on. It's like - gigantic hands pressing HARD down on me, pressing my body further down into the mattress - almost like someone is literally lying down on top of me and trying to pin me there.
And I'm completely paralyzed - absolutely no way I can move, and at times it feels like some evil entity is passing over me, and I don't want to open my eyes - quite freaky as shit, actually.
Luckily the paralysis lasts no more than maybe thirty seconds, I figure, but manoman it sure is a major buzzkill.
Apparently they're the result of (hey wouldn't ya know) lack of sleep lol.
Carl Reiner (91) and Mel Brooks (87) watch tv together every night between 7 and 10 pm.
If I was stuck with Tom Hanks from "Castaway" then I'd like to leave the island as soon as possible.
Dostoevsky's father was killed by his own serfs who held him down and drowned him in vodka.
"Clockwork Orange" - 16 y.o. in '80 (ten years after its release)
wow is Messi Messi, or what? After a two-month ham injury he comes on as a sub late in last Saturday's game and pots two goals in the last five fucking minutes of the game. This gives me a fucking sports orgasm. (mind you - against Getafe) The little punky fuck rules the planet, basically. And he totally looks like a little punk! Great - now he has to play chippy Atletico Madrid this week-end - hopefully they'll just sub him late again so he doesn't get hacked by those dung-turds.
huh - couldn't locate "not worthy " smiley.
Rule 6: There is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...... rule 6.
