It was at Kelly's suggestion that I put our stories into writing. Our life has been adventure-filled, to say the least. As time is unkind to recalling memories, she had been teasing/prodding me that I should "write a book someday" to preserve what our minds may forget. That's my only motivation to be here. As you can tell by my profile, I'm not looking for a "social" site (although I admit, nice story comments are a heck of a morale booster). When I found this site I took a tentative first step and submitted a story. It didn't seem so bad, so I wrote another one. I was stunned when I realized I'd submitted 50. At 100, I figured we had to be out of gas. So far I've written 110 and I think I'm close to that book that Kelly had wanted. These are all driven by her recalling an event, which is usually enough to shake some details out of my memory. We'll see how far it goes?
