Hope the hangover wasn't to severe

The maximum allowable size of an image you can post on the wall of a member is 1MB. Whenever I try to post a larger image, it is not allowed.
However, I have had images posted on my wall that have been substantially larger than 1MB. But if I copy the image and try to post it to someone elses wall, it is not allowed. WHY? Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance for you help with this

I would like to have the ability to remove offensive comments on my stories. I am certainly not suggesting I don't want anything but positive comments. I accept constructive criticism, and appreciate it. But, when red and whites with nothing on their bio, have been members for months and have 8 page views leaves a nasty remark, tainting the next readers views, and possible votes...it pisses me off.
Naturally, they hit me with a 1 or 2 dropping my 5 average into the tank.
I'd like to be able to dump crap like that myself. Just sayin...Where's my hammer?

Where is the save as draft option? I don't see that in the edit screen.
I usually work my stories in word, but this particular story has been rejected a few times.
I am making changes and I can't save them. So I thought there could be a saving option.

I agree with Metilda, I wouldn't waste your time on free apps for this purpose.

Yeah, it's the heatwave. The server started off by waiting for the laggers half way round the track, because they had all the cookies, but it turns out that the fit ones nicked them on their way through the second time, and since the cookies were fudge brownie with roasted pecan chocolate icing, they melted, and by the time the server caught up with its silver platter, it was all a big chocolate swamp of fudgey pecany nomminess. The server is still trying to scrape it all up, and will be with you in due course.

In general, I prefer to vote and comment on every story I read. I think the author should get that from me, at the very least. Sadly I don't get to read as much as I would like. *sigh*
I like the "non-agression" comment policy here. And the voting and comment ratio are about what I expected. (Less than 1%) But it does sometimes seem that the voting is overly generous.
All that said, if I have something to say to the author that I do not think needs to be in my comment, I will send a private message to make my point. The danger of a public critique area is always that the will surface and take over. Sad to say. Maybe the button should just indicate a desire for critiques to be sent as email. And if the author wants to take the comments further, they could start a forum thread.
Just a concern that the honest request "I'd like a critique of my writing efforts" could be read as "attack me without mercy, I'm asking for it". And then it's a one-sided dodgeball game.

Like I said, I'm not sure that I would definitely want to use such a function on Lush myself, for various reasons, but I'm not sure that the thread to discuss it is this one. The ideas have so many implications, and since this thread is for all sorts of varying site ideas, some replies would get lost.
Nobody except me commented on it until now, as it was lost on the previous page by other posts that had nothing to do with it. I only realised that it was there because a friend told me. The idea could get discussed in detail here, but other suggestions will be lost, or replies will be missed. I would be happy to see, and contribute to, the idea in a separate discussion thread if anybody feels strongly enough that it would be a plausible and accepted idea.

I'm always reading about wanting to improve the standards of the writing here, which is sometimes (okay, most of the time) met with criticism. I think in order to help people improve and get good feedback, a critique forum, like on the sister site would be useful.

This is a great idea. However, I think that it should be a private forum, just as it is on the blue site. It would have to consist of people who are serious (in a fun way), or it would just be another vehicle for slagging people off or running them down (certain people are good at that).
I am in two minds about whether I would want to join it, personally, but I'm not sure that this thread is the right place for that discussion.
In general, I think the idea has potential in some form here.

Hi everyone,
I'm a journalist looking for a woman to share her experiences of writing erotica!
I'd love to speak to someone who will talk to me about how they got into it, why they do it and if it has affects their sex life.
You would get paid for taking part in the piece and get to approve everything before it is printed.
If you would be interested or have any questions please give me an email -
Thanks!
