Wow, thank you, Kimmi! It looks like I'm going to fail to get my obsession story done in time so I'll get down to horror for hallowen!

What's this obsession competition?
A story contest launched by Lush yesterday! Take a look here and give it a go! https://www.lushstories.com/competitions/obsession

“Something or someone that you think about all the time.”
Quote by Alfresco
I did the video selfie one on a UK sex contact site I use and it was pretty painless.
I see OFCOM estimate that 14m people in the UK watch porn daily, roughly 30% of the adult population. Which begs the question what the fuck are the other 70% doing all day ?
Writing smut for Lush Stories? Plenty of people are, based on the size of the story queue!
Flower Girl
The sun warmed my shoulders, and the smell of the foliage was heavenly. Fuck it! I was free now, in body and mind. I slipped my dress off my shoulders and bared my breasts, striding through the meadow topless, not caring if anyone saw.
He found me.
“You made it?”
I nodded.
“I owe you one.”
“I need to be fucked. Then we’ll talk.”
On my hands and knees, three years of jail melted away.
"Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in."
On the last day, I've submitted a competition entry for moderation. I thought I might be done with Lush, but I couldn't stop on 149 stories! So the heroine of my very first story has been brought back for a second adventure. It won't be troubling the leaderboard, but I enjoyed writing it. Hope people like it!
I'm set on historical for this comp. This week, I gave up on an idea that wasn't working... On a remote pacific island, Takeshi claimed to have continued fighting World War 2 for Japan until the 1970s out of loyalty to the Empire. His many wives saw it differently...
So, we're off to the 19th century and the history of scientific discovery is about to be rewritten!
Rain
Rain on her wedding day! Vega was disappointed, but she’d known the risk when booking in March. She stepped outside, enjoying the warm shower. The dress would be on in three hours and off in ten. Twenty-two years of virginity ended tonight.
Pain was possible and blood could spill. But she knew great joy (orgasm!) could await her too.
Pain. Blood. Joy. That was sex.
No. That was life.
Introduce the title of your story: Elagabalus
Genre/Category: Trans
Provide a link to the story:
https://www.lushstories.com/stories/trans/elagabalus
1. What first inspired you to write this particular story?
I read a newspaper article about a museum that was officially designating the Roman emperor Elagabalus as transgender. When I looked into the matter, and the character, I found her so interesting that I decided to make a Lush of her.
2. How did you come up with these characters?
Elagabalus is a real historical figure, as is his formidable mother Julia. The court historian narrator was my invention. Journalists as we think of them didnt exist then, so I needed a character who would plausibly have access to the emperor and his court. I settled on a
historian gathering notes for an official history .
3. How does it differ from some of your other stories?
Elagabalus is the heart of the story and yet she only appears in two scenes. Many of my stories are first person or second person but focussed on a hero or heroine. In this story, the character is discussed and revealed largely by other people.
4. What was the most challenging thing about writing this story?
Trying to think like a Roman, not.someone from our time. I didnt want the characters to be ambassadors from todays regrettable culture wars.
5. Anything else you want to tell us about it?
It won a recommended read from the moderator. Having researched Elagabalus, I am still not sure if she was a reckless hedonist or a prisoner of circumstance and her time. Was she villain or victim? Perhaps neither, perhaps both.

Yeah, that's probably where I would go if I was writing fanfic. Which I am not, even if ideas come into my head from time to time.
i just looked up Archive of our own as I'd never heard of it. The first story - the first story! I saw is a watersports story of Ron, Hermione and Draco from HP😨
I posted my (very silly) comp entry today. I want to get the omnium badge but the only genres left are ones I'm not interested in, so I've rather stalled with erotica lately. I just cannot get excited about watersports or cross-dressing! So I'm going to revisit my true series, my "Sexual Autobiography" series for the next entry. It's been neglected since May last year so time for an update!
At the Halloween party, the strobe lighting made a monstrous montage; Murder victims, mummies and masked chainsaw wielders.
At the bar, I met a tall, handsome guy dressed like a vampire. We kissed after thirty minutes. Two hours later, we were undressing.
I’d assumed they went for the neck, a fatal error.
I was enjoying the oral sex. A stinging pain, like a doctor’s needle, to my left thigh. Lost.
My competition entry is up, so I'm turning back to my attempt to win the omnium badge. I've got a cross-dressing scenario I really like, but I just realised I'm at nearly 3000 words and no-one has got laid yet, even if the bedroom door has just closed! I think I need to get to the point a bit faster with this one!

"A fringe goal I decided earlier this year is to reach the Prolific badge and shoot for Omnium, though I know a couple of categories are going to be a real struggle. "
As I labour through my watersports story, trying to hide my disdain but.only 4 genres from omnium, I can relate to this sentence completely!
I don't really have goals as such. But I can imagine that if the day comes when I have an EP, a competition win and omnium badge, maybe millionaires club too, I might feel I've, so to speak, 'completed the game' and taken Lush as far as I can, if that makes sense? But since I don't have any of them, you're stuck with me for a while I guess 😅

I suppose it depends on what you're looking to achieve and how important it is to you. A badge, writing outside your comfort zone, a sense of pride in an ability to rise to a challenge, Some, all, or none of these might apply to you, but any reason would be your reason, which makes it right, I could only write in a small number of categories, but I'm as happy with doing that as those who want to cover a broad spectrum, whatever the driving force is behind the choices made. Good luck in getting where you'd like to be.
Thank you! I know omnium isn't for everyone, and many will be put off by some of the categories. But I set my heart on it about six months ago and I've come this far...might as well finish the marathon!
