I agree with Em, an ex is an ex for a reason. That being said, you might want to try to just be friends with him and see how that goes. I have a few ex's who are now friends and nothing more. It's a way to have a relationship without getting to deep in. This way you're not making a serious commitment with him and if he has truly changed, it will be a way for him to prove himself.

I did make sure I wore purple today in honor of International Women's Day. However, like having months to honor certain groups (Black History month, Native American month, etc.) or special days should hopefully one day become a thing of the past. Maybe one day we'll look back and say, "Wow! We had to have a month for people to realize how awesome these groups were. How silly."

Unfortunately, it's hard to trust anything you read (hear, see, etc). In this day and age, you've got to figure that most people have an agenda, and it's usually not what they say it is. Personally, I think critical media literacy should be a subject taught in school from early ages through high school to prevent people from taking advantage of others, and to train them to question and use their logic to distinguish fact from fiction.. If we learn nothing else from the Russian interference with the election, hopefully (but doubtfully) we'll learn this.
