It was the third different time that it had happened to me-at intervals of about four months.

Until I get an email saying that I have a message I will not know for sure that it is fixed but the signs are good!

It looks like you may well have fixed it thank you because the message telling me to update the email address has disappeared.

I suppose that I will not know for sure until I get an email (when not logged in) telling me that I have a message.

I still have the current email address that you have registered and the previous perfectly good one that you asked me to change but now it seems you want me to create another one?

It is less than four months since this last happened.

Probably I will have no choice other than to create ANOTHER account but why please?

I have over 200 stories on another site on top of the 260+ that I have on here and all of that is in 33 months. That shocks me because I had never attempted writing a story anywhere until September 2019.

I agree that comments are far more meaningful than votes. I get a 2 on a high percentage of my stories and I wonder if it is the same person doing it. Got a 1 a few stories ago as well. I would imagine that 'serious' voting is done on the basis of how much a story aroused the reader rather than whether it was worth putting forward for a Nobel award.

Hiya. This has been replaced with series linking which makes it much easier to go between all chapters of stories. The old links at the top and bottoms of stories don't exist here any more since the site was completely recoded though, so unless an author has added the new links as a series award you would need to go to their profile, or use the story search feature.

I will have another look at series linking because I have got into the habit of calling any follow-on stories of mine Part 2, Part 3 etc because I did not understand the 'new' series linking but found that the 'old' series linking worked just fine. This is not a criticism (although it probably looks like one) but a statement of fact as I see it.

Mine says 250 when the count at the moment is 260 but the badge actually says 'Author 250' with 250 also next to it. I do not know when it changed because I think it was showing less than 200 not long ago. Stories tab has the correct number.

Would it take your 'spot the mistake' pleasure out of going through a story?

I think a secondary 'notes for mods' whilst a story is pending would be useful. I recently had to send a message when I realised that I had submitted a story without tags and another time I had omitted to put in the one line description of the content of the story. There is also, as you say, the possibility of discovering an error or omission after submitting despite read-throughs and editing.

The way that I write, most of my stories are open-ended leaving the possibility of continuations but I never set out intending to write a series. I have got into the habit of naming continuations at Part 2, Part 3 etc although I used to use the series link option on the 'old' Lush and vary titles sometimes.

I think the most that I have got up to is thirteen parts but I never start with a title of Part 1 in case there is never a Part 2 although in the past there might have been some Part 1's but if there was, there would also be a Part 2.

I submitted a story today minus a couple of tags that I wanted to include, they were not really essential but they would have helped with the description of what went on in the story but I gave up trying to create them.

It has occasionally happened to me too and I have been unable to add a tag whether I try 'create' or not. It does not happen to me often and it seems to rectify itself after a while and I am able to add the relevant tags before submitting a story.

Yes but the 'beauty' of not having the consent restrictions on the male/male spanking site that I have stories on is that I can write about a punishment caning where the one on the receiving end is not consenting or enjoying. (They might like tickling though.)

No... we did have a problem a couple of days ago with viewing profiles which is now resolved. If you try to view a profile and that member has you blocked you get a message along the lines of 'you will be shot at dawn if you do that again'
