Does that explain why I occasionally get an 'error 404' message if I click on someone's profile please?

I know that it is not the same as being blocked but I have had that message come up, I had thought of asking in a separate thread but here seems to be an opportunity.

Master Jonathan was the first author of BDSM I read here and I picked up a lot of tips from him for any BDSM stories I've written.

I don't really write what I would call BDSM although a lot of my stories involve spanking or caning. For the caning ones, in particular, I have to find a way that the person bending over is actually looking forward to or wanting the caning. I actually have over 200 stories on a male/male spanking site (all from imagination!) but there is no concern there about the one on the receiving end consenting to it, although sometimes they are.

You have to close LushStories tabs completely, then go back on your profile to have the "GOLD Upgrade Now!" banner show up on the right. I had the tab still up when mine expired and so the only thing that happened was I couldn't get to the group I moderate. All other Gold functions still worked far as I could see.

I did as you suggest but I do not have any "GOLD Upgrade Now" banner so does it only appear when the membership is about to expire maybe?

Based on the date that I paid last year, I think I have close to three weeks of membership still left at the moment.

In my badges awarded section of my profile it says GOLD.

I was a Bronze member but upgraded to Gold when Bronze membership was being fazed out-I think.

In the previous site, you'd get reminder a wk or two but in this one, I don't know when you'll get notification through your email.

As for the "3" – I have a couple of people who religiously score anything I write, one with a 3, the other with a 4. And it doesn't matter how many other scores I get – those two are ALWAYS among the first scores, almost as if they sit and watch the front page for stories by competent authors.

I went through a spell of almost every story getting a '2.'

I decided to create yet another email address and it seems that this one has been accepted by you although the previous two were fine and worked perfectly, until I got a message saying that they didn't!

Problem solved, for the moment.

Nothing much more to say except I can partly identify with that.

My mother lived alone, only a short distance from both myself and my sister, and w saw her every day but also phoned her first thing in the mornings to see 'if she was still with us.'

If she did not answer the phone we went straight down to her house and twice when I got there and she was still in bed I thought that she had gone. Once her body was in such a contorted position, but she was just asleep.

She did pass away in February last year, in hospital, but I can appreciate you finding your mom and thinking that she had gone.

I think that I have always put the 'one line' in my stories but for some reason did not this time, unintentionally.

I have realised that I did not put the usual one line description in a story that I submitted about 9 hours ago. Does that matter? Will it hold up publication? Sorry about that.

On the laptop/computer if you click on each individual message/comment it will highlight it, underneath the message/comment you will see "star" & "report". Click on "star" & that will then star that message/comment.

Good Morning from the UK

I am in what I hope is only temporary retirement from writing sexy stories but I have been unwell on and off for more than a month. Even sexy thoughts are difficult currently so composing a story is impossible.

I have just had two nights in hospital (Monday and Tuesday) and had an operation on an abscess in my left buttock.

In a little while, I have to go to my local surgery to have the dressing changed on the wound, which I am not looking forward to but don't imagine it will be much fun for the nurse either.

Anyway, there might be another story from PJH one day but I do not expect it to involve abscesses and nurses, well perhaps nurses.

I have been generally feeling unwell for a month but at least sitting down again is gradually becoming doable.
