I'm confused. Which timestamp are you referring to? For me, in the forums themselves, the time is right. In the person's profile, on the list of their last ten posts, it's three hours behind, or Pacific Coast Time. But if I can't figure that out on my own, all I have to do is go look at the actual post, and I can see when it was posted.
I grew up being used to being allowed to participate in "grown up" conversations, and since I have read the newspaper daily since I was 13 years old, I've always been knowledgeable in what was going on in the world, and developed my own opionions about it.
Growing up in that type of environment made it, and still makes it even more frustrating when someone seems to dismiss my opinions or ideas for something as ridiculous (to me) as age, experience, or formal education.
I'm not sure anyone ever "gets it." I think the ones who are closest to that are the ones who never stop asking questions and trying to learn something new, even when they are in their 90s. I do believe you gain a little something with age, which is part of why I enjoy listening to a good storyteller talk about the old days, or the lessons he or she has learned. Because, if I can learn something from their experiences, that could be one less mistake I make, or maybe the knowledge will enable me to have new experiences I never could have had without that knowledge.
I'd like to see Paraguay win, but I think Spain will prevail. Germany vs Argentina is too close to call. Argentina was sort of my second choice behind Brazil, but I really don't want to see Maradona run naked, and you know that will be making the sports highlights if it's happens.

Not sure how much of an issue this is for you, but be aware that the tattoo may not blend with more formal attire, so then you may want it in an area that can be covered in those situations.
A good soccer game is still better than a good NFL game, but CFL (Canadian Football League) Is more exciting than both. As for predictions, I'm going with Paraguay, and Spain. And my predictions for the entire show is Brazil vs the winner of the Argentina vs Germany game, with Brazil winning. I've backed Brazil from the start, no need to stop now.

That's sort of how Canada had our only female Prime Minister, Kim Campbell, too. She got hammered in the next election though. Her Progressive Conservative party lost so spectacularly that they never really recovered, and had to join forces with the Reform party to bevome relevant again. My Spanish still isn't good enough to read the stories over there, but when I take my Spanish course this fall, the site will be a great way to practice my Spanish reading and writing skills.

I have no problem with friends of mine smoking, and actually enjoy the smell of second hand smoke. I don't smoke other than the occasional cigar, and I don't want my partner smoking either, although I'm not sure it would be a deal breaker. Given my nature though, I'd probably end up nagging her to quit, because long term, I want to be with someone who values a healthy lifesyle.

Brazil vs North Korea was a lot closer than I expected it to be. Brazil looks a lot more structured and defensive than they have been in the past. It will be interesting to see how they progress as the tournament continues. I think they are still my favourite.
