This article interested me. The extreme nature of their pleasure doesn't appeal to me in any way, but as a reader and NOT as a participant, I see no wrong in people getting together and consenting to to indulge their fantasies, whatever they may be.
BUT the crucial elements in the article, I think, were the lack of ability for the victim to be able to express a "safe word" and the negligence of the "Master" in failing to be with his "slave" until the end of their session. To leave him and to fall asleep was a gross failure in his duty of care, despite the consent of the poor victim to be made helpless in the way that he was.

He didn't seem to want any answers to his multiple questions, he merely made semi-coherent statementrs in an argumentative way. He simply wanted to rant and rave.
It was a public meeting and others may have wanted to ask a question and hear as much of a non-answer that one gets from any politician.
He was definitely out of order and either a fanatic, a neurotic or a militant for an opposing party. He was being violent and refusing to be reasonable. Several security people couldn't restrain him. How to get rid of him? I agree a taser was excessive but he was a damned nuicance wasn't he ?
In any public meeting there should be self control, and he didn't have any. I didn't have any sympathy for him and it was a problem that security had to overcome.
