Change of plans as my S/o mowed the lawn in the heat today and decided we weren't going to the movies. Thankfully my son took my littley swimming. She was quite happy with that. I just saw this picture on Facebook. My counselor wants me to take care of my inner child. Show her unconditional love, tell her none of it was her fault, do things with my littley that would be great for the childhood I lost. My problem is I don't know how to do any of this. I've been responsible for so many people for so long I don't know what to do to just let my inner child out. I color and draw with my girl but does anyone know what else I could do to help my inner child?
Another "homework" assignment is to monitor my self-talk. I'm not even sure how to talk to myself except about what I need to do today etc. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any advice or help.

My body aches consistently and moreso after doing fun stuff. Friday I get some shots in my knees. I have Lyme induced arthritis. Hopefully this will help some. These are different than I had in the past.
My boys are preparing for the demolition derby in two weeks. They hopefully won't go against each other but we will see. Happy hump day.
