No, actually, I'm turned off by breasts larger than a D-cup. I prefer B-C.

My sentiments, exactly!
I guess this qualifies. My home is the U.S. but I lived in Japan for two years. Certainly did not go without while I was there. Had so much fun, in fact, that I might have to go back for a visit.
I am divorced and live alone, but if I were married or lived with someone, it would have to be a woman who would share Lush with me, maybe even be the subject of some of my stories.

... This site is a private enterprise with an outstanding reputation for quality. Total transparency is neither required nor is it owed. Nicola has laid out the process for judging very clearly. She did more than she needed to do. Further whining about the process sounds like sour grapes. ...

And now could we please move on!

... i found a story that i wanted to tell, and i wrote the fuck out of it, and THEN i spent 3 weeks polishing and editing and making it perfect. that's how you win a comp. ...

Sounds simple enough. Now all I have to do is find the talent Sprite has.

... some people have chosen not to receive messages. Would it be possible to indicate this on their profile page (ie remove the 'Send a private message' link)? ...

Agreed! Very annoying to take the time to compose a message to someone, only find out that they don't accept messages. Why have the PM link, or any link for that matter, if it can't be used?

... the notepad feature (does anyone use that?).

Yes, I use it as a clipboard to store commonly used text that I might post to someone's wall or as part of a PM or Friend Request. That's my own notepad though - never figured out why I might want to put something in someone else's notepad.

I award Gav the 2016 Lush Technophobe Award for all his great work here!

That certainly gets my vote! And lets add 'Most Approachable'.
I just got done checking the web for sixteen of my stories. Every one of them is also posted on at least one other site. No doubt 'xporno.tv' is the largest offender. I was able to find most, (if not all), of my stories posted there. 'wellsexstories.com' was probably the second greatest offender.

However, I did not find any instance where someone was claiming authorship of something I had written. What I did find were copies of my stories, but without attribution of any sort. There was no author listed and no copyright listed.

I agree with 'RejectReality'. Not worth wasting my time trying to take them down. I can't imagine why anyone would waste their time with those sites anyway, when they can easily find LushStories and enjoy all of its benefits.

It does seem though, that 'xporno.tv' has pulled a major heist. That however looks to be an issue for LushStories and not something that individual authors need to concern themselves over.

I think that rather than getting all worked up over it, I'm just going to consider myself flattered to have so many of my stories copied and posted on other sites. (Kind of like a 'retweet'.) If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then unedited copying has to be high praise indeed. Wow!
Five new 'Kara' stories added in the last 30 days, including a Recommended Read! . Sixty-six votes so far, sixty-five 5's, one 4.

- stormdog100 said, "Great, sexy voyeurism tale!"

- Buz said, "This story is a fun tease, very sexy."

- hpldwg said, "She is sexy, exciting and uninhibited ..." and

- Nina618 said, "I so want to play the character Kara."

All are complete stories that can be read individually, or in any sequence. There are now 15 episodes of 'Kara', relating the sexual adventures of a young lady from her last year in high school, through college, through law school, and into her early years with a major law firm.

In these latest episodes, Kara has hooked up with businessman/playboy Dirk Williams. Together they indulge Kara's love of exhibition and tease, and his desire to watch and participate.

Someplace recently I read a post from someone who had masturbated to 'Two Moon Junction'. I bought the DVD of that a few years back. I'll probably watch it later tonight. But being Friday night, I'm hoping I won't be masturbating.rAro8mow0EV3QXdg
I really get off on 'hot talk', so yes, I want to hear it, but especially stuff like, "I was so hot I fucked him right there in the parking lot," or "I wasn't wearing any panties and he was finger-fucking me while we were dancing." But not about his cock being bigger than mine or him being a better lover. While that may have been true, I don't want to hear about it. But, if it's about how turned on she got, or what she did to turn him, (or her or them), on, the more descriptive she gets, the more turned on I get, especially when it excites her to talk about it. (Some of my stories include little snippets of this - a couple of them even have it as a major component.)
I guess i shouldn't have been surprised to learn that most of my favorite movies are based on books. And further that I have read most of those books, usually before seeing the movie, but a few after as well. Some of my favorites though, have not previously been mentioned:

Shogun (actually a TV mini-series);
All the President's Men;
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (a movie and a TV miniseries);
The Spy Who Came In From the Cold;
Pillars of the Earth (another TV miniseries); and
The Day of the Jackal.

But of these and all the others mentioned in earlier posts, I guess my all-time favorite would be Blackhawk Down.

On further thought though, there are so many great movies that have been mentioned here, it really is hard to choose. =d>
I don't know if this qualifies as 'surprise or random sex' but I am definitely into the serendipitous type as opposed to the planned variety. However, when there is no plan, the possibility of unexpectedly negative consequences greatly increases. Maybe that's what makes it so much fun!

Example: As the host of a company sponsored party I was taken aside and apologized to by the wife of one of our male employees. She, thinking she recognized a male backside to be that of her husband, had reached between the man's legs and grabbed his dick and balls. But when he turned around with a grin on his face, she realized it was not only not her husband, but that she had just fondled a total stranger.
Demand? Makes no difference whether it's a wife, girlfriend, kidnapper, boss, employee, protester or whoever - I don't respond to demands!

Ask? No wife or girlfriend of mine has ever had to ask. I am not her parent. I am not her owner. It's her decision.

Would I be okay with it if she did? I would be upset if it resulted in an alienation of affection or had some other seriously negative effect on our relationship. Otherwise though, I don't see a problem. Might even be a positive!

I can see why the numbers can be interesting, ...

Yes, numbers probably would be adequate. My reason for suggesting names, too, is so I can look at the profiles of the people reading the story. (I do that with the comments and votes. It helps me to understand the type of person that a given story is appealing to.)

As for opt-in / opt-out, I can't find anything that currently gives a member the ability to say yea or nea on that disclosure. Maybe someone else has found it. I would like to know, too.
I have noticed that there is a spot at the bottom of each story page that shows the names of members viewing the story. Personally, I would like to have the ability to see, in one place, the names of members viewing any of my stories, and what stories they are viewing. It would be even greater if I could see a timeline of the activity. (This latter suggestion, if implemented, would probably need some filter options to cut down the traffic for our more popular authors.) Then there's the privacy issue. I'm sure there are people that wouldn't want anyone to know what they were reading. Do we already have the ability to shut this type of reporting off, or is that a function that needs to be added?
Where do teenagers go on a date? Where do they have sex?

When I was a teenager we got into the nightclubs at eighteen - sixteen or seventeen if we knew the doorman or had fake id. But what do teens do now?

When I was a teenager we went to the drivein or went parking if we wanted to screw. But now there are no driveins and 'safe' parking places are nearly impossible to find. Besides the individual seating in today's vehicles, (even trucks), does not exactly lend itself to intimate encounters.

More and more teenagers are ending up as parents, but where does it happen?

Most of my stories are about teenagers but I'm finding it harder and harder to create sexual situations that fit foday's teenagers' circumstances.

Anyone want to tell me?

Will this retain things like italics, or would they have to be reapplied a second time, which would also happen with the suggestion to copy the story into a pm box, and then add formatting in the lush editor?...

You can retain the formatting if you do as follows:

1) from the Open Office/Libre Office document Save As HTML;

2) Open the HTML document with a generic type text editor; (just a plain old ascii text editor, not something like Open Office or Libre Office that introduces its own formatting marks.)

3) Edit out the DocType entry, all the heading stuff except the heading and end heading labels <head> and </head>;

4) In the body, strip out all unnecessary tags; (Remove <span>, <div>, etc. When you are done you should have a document that begins with <html> and ends with </html>. You will have <head> and </head> with nothing between them and you will have your story bracketed by <body> and </body>. The only html in the body should be <p> separating the paragraphs, and <i> and </i> bracketing the italics and other formatting openings and closings for bold and underlining if you use those. If you use a little common sense you can do all of this with a few 'find and replace' type edits.)

5) Read it back into Open Office/Libre Office; and

6) Copy and paste it into the Lush editor.

Note: Steps 3 and 4 require at least a basic knowledge of raw HTML coding.
It's really Libre Office that I use but I used to use Open Office and have encountered the problem with both.
I use Open Office and I have had the problem. In my case it seems to have been caused by some of the formatting I do. Italics, bold and underlining all seem to cause the problem. Saving the file as an HTML file and then editing that with a plain text editor allows you to see all of the formatting controls.

Open Office creates some really weird formatting controls when you change formatted text - ie: adding or removing specially formatted text. In Open Office it looks fine but then you paste it into the Lush editor and it doesn't know how to interpret things properly and ends up leaving extra spaces.

It can be fixed by converting the final Open Office document to HTML, fixing that with a plain text editor, and then converting it back to the Open Office format. I wouldn't try this though unless you have at least a nodding acquintanceship with HTML.

If you use Open Office and special formatting of any kind - bold, italic or underlining - you are likely to have this problem. If you are not familiar with HTML you probably will need to fix it in the Lush editor.

I would have to agree. May have to add it to my list of favorites.

Some way of indicating whether or not you have "liked" a comment to one of your stories. It is not a big deal, but I sometimes can't remember, between looking at my phone and looking at my computer, whether I have already "liked" something.

Yes, we need this!

You see how we sometimes send message to a new person and after typing and hitting the send button, the message appears that ' this user has chosen to receive messages from friends only'. I am talking about inbox message. So I was thinking that if there is a way that if a person has chosen this setting, ' send a private message ' button is only available to friends. I mean it sure saves time to type and inbox message and then seeing it getting rejected

We need this too!
Interesting that this topic popped up again, (after almost two years). I was just today wondering about what was happening with my latest story.

It seems to be doing just fine with views and votes - even the number of comments isn't all that bad. What I do find depressing however is that only two of the five comments and two of the fourteen votes came from among my 96 friends.

Nearly 4000 have viewed the story but only 15 have voted or commented on it. My past history suggests that that is normal but it still looks to me as if something is wrong.

Is there something I can do to improve this?

Oh, and by the way, I believe that I have personally thanked everone who ever voted, commented on, or faved one of my stories - not all that difficult when the most votes I've ever gotten on a story is 48.
I love hearing a female talk about her sexual adventures, particularly when she gets turned on when talking about them. However, I've only had one girlfriend who was interested in hearing about my experiences.
Sunny, clear, 74 degrees fahrenheit, wind out the SE at about 20 MPH, And yes, I am in the continental United States.
If it's not broke, don't fix it. Why is a change needed? Is someone actually complaining?
