If you see text only, and you want the full blown experience, then you can switch 'text only' off via your profile page:

Click on your mini avatar in the red banner and second from bottom, in the resulting list of options, there is 'Theme' with a sub-menu of 3 options. Click on Light.

John,
I think the request is can someone set his profile back to the way it was so his screen reader can properly process it.
I don't know how to find a button on a UI when you're blind, but perhaps an admin can set that value on his profile.

I once tread lightly amongst the threads there, and found that the waters harbored life forms not much to my liking. Too often in such realms, the idea of 'reasonable discourse' (not to be confused with 'reasonable intercourse') was notably absent. Thus, I cast those demons into the outer darkness.

Generally those places are filled with the same voices throwing bricks at each other and not really debating anything.
They start out with their positions clearly marked and they don't move much.

Can I get you something to drink or would you like one of these croissants?

Hi everyone, not in a good mood.

Sometimes I just want to delete my account, this is one of those days.

I peeked into the THINK TANK...I know BIG mistake...I would never speak Ill of the dead!!

It makes me so mad to see that here...Why do they think it’s ok to stomp on the grave of someone they never knew?

I’m reminded of something I heard...if they speak hatred once you die, that means you were great in life. No named actors on Twitter...the people on lush who spew the hatred they have for a trailblazer.

I’m sorry guys, this isn’t right to be so one sided here. It’s not right or just. Im not that good with words to voice my opinion in the think tank. It’s just really low to be so happy a person died.

I’ll have a hot chocolate with mini marshmallows please and ty...????

Lucky darling, What have we told you about the Think Tank?
Bring a flack jacket and a riot baton if you ever go back.
It isn't somewhere I ever want to return to, it's far too rough for my sensibilities.
Just remember that there's a corner of this web somewhere where there's a version of the Think Tank where they're wearing black arm bands and celebrating the memory of Mr Limbaugh.

In this life some people inspire powerful emotions, and not everyone is universally adored. All I can suggest is don't go back to the Think Tank, until you're in fighting shape, it's not a place to linger more a rolling street brawl.

Have a hot choccy with extra mini mallows.

-update
I read the Wiki entry on him and some of his public statements are extremely hurtful to hear.
I don't know much about the man, but I can see why there may be a lot of people happy to see him dead.
I'm not saying it's right but I can't really blame those who are celebrating judging from some of these public positions on issues.
I'm hearing a lot of chatter about BAME and queer groups being very hostile to this mans memory.
I can't say how accurate their claims are, but they do strongly suggest that perhaps he wasn't the nicest man in the world.

Jane was in my dreams again.

This time, somebody had introduced us after a play or something and there was such a deep, instant connection between us that she and I I immediately decided to run away together.

I...I don't dream about her this much usually, either.

Of course she was in your dreams dear Elyse, how could any woman resist walking those dreams of devotion and love.
Big squishy hugs, and few more too because I'm a greedy girl today.

Hi, everyone! Been MIA for a couple of days (friend's funeral yesterday so I've been mopey) but I'm back bearing more chocolate hearts,
this time white chocolate with cake and strawberry cream. Small amount cracked off around the bottoms so they're messy, but they taste delicious! I'm practicing for my son's 4th birthday this weekend

Emma darling, so sorry to hear about your friend. May the Goddess bring them Home to be in Her presence, with those they loved and who loved them in this life. Blessed be.

I always liked home baking to look slightly informal, it shows it was made with love dammit, and not some machine or master baker.

Your son is 4 already? They do grow up so very fast, any day now he's going to ask you for a dog. Every little boy I've ever known always wants a dog.

Have another hug and a hot chocolate.
Struts into the bar, blowing kisses as she gets to the bar.
Empties Big Bertha, keeping the sludge for the real caffeine fans. Refills with some Italian roast beans, and lots of mountain fresh water.
Blows a kiss to BB and gives her a comforting pat for being a good...coffee maker.
Cleans out the big kettle and refills it, setting it to boil.

Places a tray of hazelnut and chocolate croissants on the bar.

Switches the sign from The Witch is OUT to IN.
Wiggles fingers and summons a dryad to get the washing up done, while a second whirls round the room driving all the rubbish into a pile, before dumping it in a skip round the back.

Good morning my lovelies, hope your day is going wonderfully well. I'm having a long weekend here, I have Monday off and I may be getting stuck into the garden to get it all ready for spring.

What can I get you fine folk to drink today?
Completing a network upgrade, and being able to set the QoS to book bandwidth for specific devices. Made my life a lot easier when they don't keep losing internet links.

Greetings and welcome to this unauthorized pimp.

Verbal (aka Jeff) has just posted a story over on the old Sacre Bleu site, Stories Space. Me, I ain't read it or a single post here, at least not today, and haven't even had a first mug of Big Bertha's beatific brew, but this news just couldn't wait.

https://www.storiesspace.com/stories/supernatural/-grandmas-house-.aspx

Now go check it out and by the time you get back, well, you'll be glad you made the trip. ;)

Me, I wanna mug of Big Bertha's ambrosia. Anybody else need a drink?

Bill one cuppa BB's finest and Jeff's work is certainly worth a read.
Highly recommended.

Hey! The broom is MY province! Get your own thing. I like having both hands on a long, hard, pole…that has bristles at the end?

Wait, that didn't come out quite the way I…well, at least it went in straight…oh, hell.

Morning Michelle! Did I get the wrong end of things? I do most humbly apologize girl…which seems to be my natural state. Apologizing, I mean. Which is close to Montana, I 'spect.

And morning to everyone else as they wander in. I've got an hour of calisthentics (ugh), so I'll just take a refill for my water bottle for now.

But lemme see if I can use the broom to find the floor…and perhaps Carl as well… he must be under here somewhere.

Oh you silly man James. I don't seem to have water here so a pint of beer will have to do.

Oh, I'm not ashamed of it. More like I'm so used to being mocked for who and what I love that when I'm not, it feels strange.

...but I...I also don't know what I'd do without her. I...I need her in ways that I've never, ever needed anyone...and I've loved a lot of people.

Sorry...she just makes me feel so much.

Some people have been lucky enough to always be in sync with the people around them. They see the world the same way and have trouble understanding that there are people who don't share that viewpoint.
Love is always a beautiful thing, and you used yours to write verse. Anyone who inspires you to write poetry has to be a powerful force in your life.
So keep being your lovely self.
Don't listen to the negative people, we've got a fan club devoted to you.
A soft Irish Mid west brogue, but if I get a little over excited my inner country girl comes out and I can sound like D'unbelievables.
Is a curator of the largest collection of Jane winks, ever!
Give the best super squishy hugs. They're habit forming.

Pretty much, except I think Janestruck wonder is more accurate. It's dumb, but...every day I'm even more sure that I'm in love with her - like, actually, properly in love.

Never mind that she's twice my age or that it's an improbable thing - the heart wants what it wants.

In the heart of every Lover is a spark of Hope. Sometimes it's a Hope that comes true, sometimes it's just a Hope for could be.
Don't be ashamed of that big heart, or that you feel that way about Jane. A life without Love isn't being alive at all.
Quote by delacruzinforjosh

...that depends on what you mean. How do I look at Jane (other than with my eyes)?

They used to say you should find someone in your life who looks at you the way Gomez looks at Morticia.
He adores, treasures, and absolutely desires her intensely.
That's how you talk about Jane, and how I imagine you gaze at her image.
Dumb-struck wonder, like a vision of the Divine.
Quote by delacruzinforjosh
This isn't me needing to kiss Jane right now yesterday and then some. Nor is it me imagining the look on any of your faces if you walked in on her and I in the middle of things.

...except it totally is and I have no shame where she's concerned.

Elyse darling, if I caught you and Jane together doing...something...I'd be properly thrilled for you.
Everyone needs someone in their life that looks at them the way you look at Jane.
Wanders into the bar, giggling to herself at the state of the place. Channelling her forest home in dark green leather trousers, bottle green DM boots, and dark green leather fingerless gloves. The solid tread of the boots crunches debris under her feet as she makes her way to the bar.
Empties Big Bertha and keeps the sludge. Refills with a Colombian roast she's trying, and lots of clean mountain water.
The big kettle is refilled and the hot drinks properly laid out.
The carved wooden sign with The Witch is OUT. Slips on the white bartenders jacket, flicks the sign to Witch is IN.

Good morning my lovely lushies, hope your day is going well.

Lucky I can't say I know much about the man, all we get over here is shock moments and talking points. I'd hate to judge a man on such little information. Still I hope his journey across the Veil was a peaceful one. May the Goddess Call Her children home, restore them in Her Light and grant them eternity in Her presence with those they loved and who loved them. Always things were, are, and ever will be according to Her Will. Blessed be.

James you really do have the most fabulous way to introduce me. Please don't describe me as a Wiccan, I don't have a Tradition to belong to. It basically means I don't have any real standing at Conclave. The big plus is that if I go streaking during the meeting there's no High Priestess who can censor me. Circle Rite means I can atone really easily and those Bitches really hate that. Blows a raspberry at them

Now while the dryad is getting the washing up done, what I can do for the rest of you lovelies?

Where's that broom while I clean these empties up..
Quote by delacruzinforjosh
This isn't me imagining the teasing look Jane would give me after a make out session. Nor is it me drifting deeper into the warm, blissful haze of Janefog by imagining her with smudged lipstick and rosy cheeks.

...except it totally is and...hhgghhjjklmkjjjggh.

Elyse, I think you damn well deserve a little Jane fog my dear.
Big squishy hugs, and you keep being your beautiful self.
Do forgive me being a little slow posting today folks, I got the final piece of my network upgrade today and had to wrestle with the blasted tech gremlins to make things behave. I've managed to get everything patched in, the new gear is running smoothly and my home office is now wired instead of on WiFi so the link should be a more stable.
The 10X speed increase didn't hurt either, now the only bottleneck is the onboard network card instead of the churning old box that was giving me so much grief.

In honour of the wondrous day, I'm putting all the drinks on my tab.
Rack 'em up folks, this is a rare and beautiful thing.
Wanders into the bar, giggling to herself at the state of the place. Channelling her forest home in dark green leather trousers, bottle green DM boots, and dark green leather fingerless gloves. The solid tread of the boots crunches debris under her feet as she makes her way to the bar.
Empties BB and keeps the sludge. Refills with a new Ethopian blend she's trying, and lots of clean mountain water.
The big kettle is refilled and the hot drinks properly laid out.
Places a tray of apple muffins on the counter and smiles.
The carved wooden sign with The Witch is OUT. Slips on the white bartenders jacket, flicks the sign to Witch is IN.

Good morning my fellow Lushies, such a lovely dawn today the skies were pink with cotton wool clouds.
For a moment I half expected the sky to change to the Dreamworks logo.

I see we've been having a lot of discussion about classic rock, always fun to exchange memories of the greats.

Hello everyone, happy Fat Tuesday!!!!

I’m going to stuff myself today, for tomorrow I fast, ughhh the start of Lent. I seriously have trouble knowing what to give up. No way sex!! Or Chocolate, how can I get though this pandemic without those two. Ughhhhhhhhh I’ll think of something I always do.

Good news for me: I was reinstated on my unemployment. Yeaaaaaa! Seriously I rather be working.

Omg I hear they will use swaps to put ashes on our foreheads. For those not Catholic, it’s what we do on Ash Wednesday. Usually the Priest puts a lot of ashes on our foreheads with his thumb. The Ashes are from the burning of the Palms we get on Palm Sunday. I’m sorry if I sound preachy. Not my intent.

If you can't think of something to give up, you could flip the sentiment and start something new.
Take up a new hobby, learn a new skill, write a story in a category you don't normally write in.
That it's less of a statement on denial and more a chance to remake yourself to be a better version of yourself.
That life is full of change, and to change is to be remade.
Just a thought.
Ok will put on my Witches hat and throw a comment in here.

First of all if I'm hanging around in a slightly open bath robe letting you a comparative stranger see my tits without a hint of embarrassment that means I've done this before and you're the latest in a long line I've done this to. Otherwise I'd be far more nervous, uncertain and blushing madly, which you haven't mentioned.
So this is just some fun and games for the pair of them.

Secondly I'm an impulsive girl and if I was given the chance to grab me some older woman loving I could well have taken the chance.

You've dipped a toe in the water so you at least know what you're getting into.

What I'd strongly recommend is making a short list of questions.
How attractive did you find the wife?
How did you feel with the husband watching you?
How did you feel during your sexual experience with this older woman?
How do you feel about wearing women's underwear?
Is there any element you're not entirely happy with?
Is this something you'd want to do more than once?

Then sit, look at your answers and listen to your intuition.
It could be the start of a wonderful sexual adventure or something you don't ever want to repeat.

I've done reckless things when I was younger and sometimes they were amazing experiences and sometimes they didn't work out.
I'd suggest giving yourself time to see how you feel about each question separately then together.
It may be you're happy to get stuck in , would like to change a few things or want to run away screaming

All are perfectly rational, reasonable responses to this situation.
Hope that gives you some food for thought.

Oh, I am, believe me...but even more than that, I'm floored and touched by all of the nice comments I've been receiving.

I'm so proud of you for putting words to paper. I know how hard that can be, and how hard it can be to put emotions into words is even harder.
You did yourself and Jane proud. Give yourself a proper pat on the back and a big cheer.

I'm getting shirts with "Team Elyse" on them, you deserve a fan club!

Oh what girl doesn't like to get 8 inches. Granted maybe not on her driveway over night, but still. It'll make those other mommas at the school gates blush if you boast about it in just the right way.

I do love your squishy hugs. I saw your poem darling, awesome work. I'm so proud of you, it's hard to write poetry.
You did a wonderful job and you should be properly proud of yourself.

you're doing us all proud Jack, pounding that road under your shoes one step at a time.
Celebrate your victories, no matter how small they may seem.
You're doing remarkably well and you are kicking ass every time you go out and run.
Go Jack!!!
