Thank you Laura and Bill for promoting my stories! I've been writing to please lately and while it's been a bit rushed, it's felt like I'm ticking off a to-do list. don't say that, Laura! i hope you'll enter it, i really want to read it! i struggled with the word count too. most of what i cut out was dialogue, if that helps. i also cut out a huge paragraph about the girl's early life and i really liked that bit! this word limit is brutal!
