I moved to South Carolina for grad school. Ended up liking it so much, that I found a job and stayed there for 9 years. It's amazing how quickly a person can be accustomed to the heat...then miss it when it's "cold." Haha never mind how freezing winters were when I went up to MA to visit family and friends!!
After doing what I did, I moved to California for a job in the video game industry. Not exactly what I had planned to do with my life lol. I've been here less than a year and am enjoying the area so far. One day, I may even venture out and explore more than just my corner of Cali
So what am I doing here? I decided to check it out on the recommendation of a friend. So far, it's been all about enjoying the awesome stories here and reading the forums! I've submitted one story so far and I'm working up the nerve to finish and submit another one. Who knows, maybe one day I'll actually become a social person and make some new friends here!

Haha I'm boring. I enjoy hiking and hanging out at the beach. At home, I spend my time reading, watching TV/movies, playing video games (and hanging out with some cool guys on TS) or playing with my cat.
Favorite Books
I like my romance novels (aka smut). In particular, any sci fi/fantasy romance novel is cool - I really dig the vampires, time-travelers and other paranormal books.
While I generally stick to romance or fantasy novels, I've been known to branch out based on friend's recommendations.
Favorite Authors
Currently, my favorite authors are JD Robb/Nora Roberts, Sherrilyn Kenyon and J.R. Ward. I will read basically anything by them.
Favorite Movies
I love action/adventure movies! I'm a bit iffy about comedies and romantic comedies, but will try most anything. Supernatural/sci fi and horror movies are good too.
Favorite TV Shows
NCIS, Criminal Minds, Once Upon a Time, Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, The Walking Dead are all shows that I watch weekly.
I've been watching a lot of old shows on Netflix: Hercules, Xena, MacGyver, House and I don't know how many more lol.
Favorite Music
After living in the South, I'm a big fan of modern Country: Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney just to name a few.
The reality is, my taste in music is eclectic. My Pandora stations include Insane Clown Posse, Barenaked Ladies, Queen, classical music, latino music, rock, rap and heavy metal. What I listen to depends entirely on my mood...and what my friends have suggested lol.
