You need to paste the story into flat file format / plain text, before copying and pasting it again, into lush.

Most devices / programs, include lots of code when you copy text, which renders in a whole host of ways, depending on the website / form / program, you are submitting to.

To remove all that unwanted junk code, it's best to post into notepad (or equivalent) first, or to format it as plain text. Then C & P to our form here. It's the same on most sites you submit to. Always paste as plain text and you'll have no issues.

The site is now constantly monitored, and automatically rebooted when problems arise. It should be down no longer than 7-8 minutes if there is a problem.

Gav has also been working on the site the last few days (which you wouldn't be aware of), upgrading to a newer version of Windows server. That may have caused a longer period of downtime.

In the interests of helping our readership find stories they are most interested in more easily, we decided it was best to subdivide the "Group Sex" category further.

The "threesomes" category has been recently added, however that didn't really help those looking for stories about swinging.

We deemed that a popular enough search to merit its own category. Swinging doesn't necessarily involve group sex, so it made sense to split that out.

DONALD Trump has expelled 60 top Russian adult movie stars from the US in response to the Stormy Daniels TV interview.

Well spotted!

I pointed out the message count being wrong last week. It’s due to moving the forums to their own sub domain, and the site cache not pairing up. It’s being looked into. It is rather irritating. I cleared my inbox earlier and it advises I still have a dozen messages on the forum side

I don’t know if the friend counter was ever in the site header nav bar on the forum side

The latter.

I remove all votes on competition entries, from competitors. It's the fairest way to do it.

Some people think that by voting down other people's entries, they might get an advantage. All it does is put a black mark against their name. Some go as far as asking their friends to do the same, which is easily spotted too.

All the voting does is give me a guide as to the Top 20-30 entries, to make creating a shortlist easier. But where competitions like this are concerned, with shorter submissions, I usually read the lot.

We put "Group Sex" and "Swinging" together at the start. Poor wording in my initial post

The blurb for that category needs changing now. I've revised it and sent it to Gav to update.

You know, I am starting to think that Swingers / Swinging, should actually be in their own category. It's very popular, and swinging doesn't necessarily involve group activities, so it's perhaps incorrectly included in that category.

Interesting idea. But the thing is, authors are repeatedly warned, if they don't get a minimum of 10 votes, then their poems / stories will not qualify. So leaving it until the last minute, is inadvisable.
