It's because you deselected everything and turned all your seeking settings off, just turned it back on for you so it's working. On the top right of activity page under settings you can adjust them all there. 

I just checked my profile after trying to open Activity and I am now listed as SEEKING BI-GIRLS, BI-CURIOUS GIRLS, & LESBIANS!!!!!!!!!!! How dare you change my settings! 

It also seems that the new admin do not see an issue with going into individual members' profiles and making adjustments. Please can I ask what the limit to this is? Am I next going to be told where I live or how tall I am, what about comments on stories or profiles or responses to them, can I be assured they are from the user and not an admin who has decided to fiddle with someone's account?

 i looked your piece over and agree with the mods who returned it. it's not a poem, it's the skeleton of a story, one that i think could be very interesting if you took the time to flesh it out. as is, it feels incomplete. personally, i would suggest that you take their advice and turn it into something wonderful instead of just giving up.

oh, good choice. been a while for that one. Last Tarantino I've watched was Jackie Brown (for the 5th time). Hateful 8 is the only one that i haven't actually seen at least once.  

Jackie Brown is my fave Tarantino! The Elmore Leonard pedigree, that amazing cast, and my decades-long crush on Bridget Fonda made the decision for me. Of course, RD odes have Steven Wright as the DJ at the station "where the 70s never died." 

He really need to make a horror movie.

I suppose the only way at the moment is to make a copy of what you submit and then compare it with what appears on the site.

For me, this is key. It is a record of what changes Mods have made. The IT team told me this they had been told that this wasn't a necessary feature. I don't remember any consultation on this - this sort of thing is important to writers. Can we have it back please!

i am having this issue as well. 

If you are logged in, you can put "https://www.lushstories.com/mailbox/inbox" in the browser address and it should take you to your mailbox. Worked for me.

btw, a little background knowledge. Lush 1.0 no longer exists. it became apparent that we either had to migrate to lush 2.0 or, eventually, close up shop. for those who want to return to Lush 1.0, it had a shelf life of approximately 1-2 years before it became a cherished memory. trust me, once the kinks, and i know there are many, are ironed out, you'll get used to it, relearn how to lush, and most of you will be pleased with the change. yes, it's a steep learning curve. yes, right now things are not running smooth. all we ask is you have a little faith. 

also, i get that a lot of you are frustrated. multiply that by about 4 and you know how must of the moderation team feels. dumping on them, abusing them, or just being negative about what's going on right now doesn't help. again, just chill and have a little faith that this will be an improvement and that, given a little time to relearn how things work, you'll be crusing along like you were before. how many of you joined Lush in the first place and knew how to do any of the things that you know how to do know? think of it as joining a new site.

Links in text is easy - it's that little icon at the top that looks like chain links, between the dot and the smiley face. Select the text you want to link, click/tap that, and the text is linked. This is a link to the first chapter of the best thing I've ever written. Or do you not have that button?

It sure would have been nice if someone had mentioned that like a week ago So many assumptions made, so many frustrations induced.

what the lush mods are not doing is spending a lot of their free time writing an instruction manual since the lush mods are also spending a lot of their free time figuring out the same things you are trying to figure out. what the lush mods would probably prefer to be doing is playing around on lush and socializing during their free time, especially since most of the lush mods are also working or have families or are trying to write which is why most of the lush mods joined lush in the first place. 

now, if you want to be helpful, start compiling all the things you've learned so far and share it with others. we'll call it the JamesL Instruction manual. thanks in advance.

I can't do anything besides post. I can't quote, I can't post pictures, I can't edit my own posts.

I suspect that is because a few years ago you guys suspended me, unsuspended me early then tried to limit where I could post after people whined (I was only allowed to post in the think tank or some shit) then you guys removed that but I could still not access the gold lounge even though I am gold member. I never said anything because like I don't care about the gold lounge. But I think my account is all fucked up because of that. 

I see everyone else has normal forum capabilities.
