The new chat mods are smoking hot. biggrin

*Flips hair and bats eyelashes* ... oh, not me? Pfft.

Can someone please tell me if this is a bumhole  ? I've asked before, I'm asking again. It's another thing I like about the new site, by the way.

bolt

It's a leather basketball. That's my professional opinion.

Sure it is. Cos that fits so neatly alongside the butt plug, nipple peg and mankini emojis 😇

You know perfectly well that i own all but the mankini, so it makes perfect sense to me.

Well... not as smooth as we hoped, but not as rough as i secretly thought, so... happy sunday. can i suggest that Spike Lee's NYC Epicenters: 9/11 – 2021½ is a must watch. I find his films to be hot and cold on a personal level. some I love, some do nothing for me, but this documentary is really a must watch imo. hard to watch at times, but uplifting at others.

I don't really do chat rooms, so the biggest improvement to me is the Forums. The oldest post thing is cool, as is the bolded threads for ones you've participated in. And things are certainly faster and less prone to crashing. I'm digging it.

It took me a day or two to get used to the new style, but now that I am, it's really so effortless and breezy to scroll through the forums. A+ on that.

Hey there all. Don’t think I have ever posted here, though I have read the posts here before. This is a courageous thread, and easy for no one to write in, I’m sure. Bless you all for your honesty.

My sister killed herself a few days after 9/11 in 2001. And we are once again heading toward that anniversary. I’ve done this 20 times now, and it hasn’t gotten any easier. It’s harder this year, I don’t know why. But every year, as the anniversary of 9/11 nears, it feels like the sun just gets darker, and on the actual anniversary of her death it feels like a total eclipse. Of course, eclipses don’t last that long, thank god, so a few days later and I am crawling out of the shadows and back into life. But there is a week or so where I am stumbling around in the darkness.

Anyway, I read what Rachael said above, about listening and healing and trust, and decided to share. I usually keep my feelings held pretty close to the vest. But it comforted me to write it, and know that someone is probably listening.

Peace everyone, and hugs.

Love love and more love for you, my friend. Just hang on to those who are close and who love you and the day will pass, like it does every year - just try to remember the good memories you shared with your sister and not so much on that day.

A friend of mine was living in NYC 20 years ago and working in Manhattan. The morning of 9/ll she was on the subway going into work when people started talking about what had happened, no one really knowing exactly what had happened. A fire? A plane crash? She got out at her stop and she could see the skyline dominated by the two towers burning. A few moments later she watched them collapse. "It's something you never forget, Rach. Something you wish you could, but every anniversary it still haunts."

I didn't lose anyone, but I know those who did. We all remember where we were when we heard. It still hits a little. Or a lot. Nothing much more to say than that, but let's just raise a glass to those lost their lives, those who lost a loved one, those whose lives were changed forever, which probably includes all of us in some little, or large, way. Be good to each other. Look out for each other. Love each other. A kind word goes a long way. So do harsh ones. Choose kindness.

Salud. Dios te bendiga.

Give me everything with alchohol in it. EVERYthing. NOW! fecking hell. enough to drive a madwoman mad.

I have literally everything here - what do you need?
Let's start with tequila and a hot Scottish gal and see what happens.

Give me everything with alchohol in it. EVERYthing. NOW! fecking hell. enough to drive a madwoman mad.

this from a user:

Also, there's no way for me to chat in the rooms on my phone (Samsung Galaxy 9+). I get the space to type messages in, but my keyboard doesn't appear when I touch it. The only way I could chat was to go in on my laptop. So, if you're able to, do you mind adding this to the list of wrinkles to be ironed out?

You guys think YOU have issues. All my mod powers were just stripped away. lol I can't do ANYthing right now. It's actually kind of nice. Like a mini-vacay. If you need me, I'll be in the corner with my strawberry daiquiri and my book. smile

Jen said that had nothing to do with the role out... but maybe I misunderstood. I did restock the throne (remember to use your middle finger on the hidden tray print scanner!) while the make-over was underway, so you should be way comfy soon.
Jen's been wanting to muffle me for years. Seems she finally found a way to do it. I swear, that girl has gone power mad!

Apparently the site does not believe a woman can be 6' 3" tall. It keeps resetting me to 0' 0" -- and I thought buying clothes was hard before!

For once, being short is a positive! smile

I don't even want to be in the chatroom cause all you see is people whining.

sounds like exactly where i want to be right now. ROFLMAO. *coughs* no, seriously.

FOR THOSE WITH THE LOG OUT ISSUE:

Quote by Caramel_Infidel

For those getting logged out... I “geolocated” myself (indicated a searchable location via Google {i.e., a location pops up in the profile that you can select}), I was able to make selections in the rest of the profile that allowed me to complete the initial section and eventually finalize that annoyance.

This.

I had exactly the same thing. Couldn't get past Basic profile setup until I spotted that the Location (that was already filled out with my Lush 1.0 info) was being rejected.

Clicking into the field, selecting the closest location from the "official" Lush 2.0 sanctioned set, and clicking Next allowed me to move on. Up to that point it looked as if I was being kicked out of the site every few pages. This was compounded by the fact that some pages were fine and let me view them as-is. Then I'd click, say, someone's Profile and be back to square one, being asked to fill out my profile which looked as if I was "logged out".

So yes, check all the required fields in the profile are being accepted. The indicator that there's something needs your attention is rather subtle.

Kimmi:

I’d be patient with everyone else, as they’re probably having problems logging in (as I initially did).

Also, other features should get ported over from Lush® 1.0 in the upcoming days.

Hang in there. 😉

Be patient with the mods too, please. we're in the same boat, only we're actually expected to answer questions and solve issues! lol Jen and i have have some interesting convos today:

me: i have no idea what i'm doing.

jen: you didn't before either

me: at least now i have an excuse!

You can’t search by the members name anymore.

How do we get rid of seeing peoples footers?  Not interested in seeing those.

We don’t have a list of the moderators and admin team anymore.  Will we be able to see that?

Hugs,

Mysteria

Scroll down and hit 'advanced'. You can put a username in there

went to test that out and discovered that my search button doesn't work. lol

fyi - badges disappearing seems to be pretty common across the board. they will be restored. not sure when, but it will happen.

Okay, I am not crazy. My husband has a quote button and I do not. It is nowhere on mine and right at the bottom on his. I think it is taunting me. Just glad I am not going crazy. James, a drink sounds fabulous. Thanks for your patience!

you only get quote buttons if you send me nude selfies...
Quote by Grace

not just you. i think you have to be a member of the cool kids club to get a quote button. i guess you and I just didn't make the cut. wanna join lilly and I in the hot tub to console one another? it's purdy now. most of the rust has gone.

click on lushstories and login from there to stand a slight chance of getting to your home page.

And, again. There. working as intended. I think.

SO WHERE THE HECK IS THE QUOTE BUTTON JAMES!!!!!!!!!! And why do I have to log-in each time I want to post here? Is it just me?

😒

quote button is at the bottom of the box of the msg you want to quote - this is me testing it out smile

Are we allowed to mention that we wrote a story for the other site, here? If not, blame it on James. smile But I did. It has zero sex in it. Not even a hint. Violet talked me into doing it. I think it's not bad, too.

Hope everyone is doing well. Sorry I haven't been around much. Life gets away from you sometimes. I'll do better.

Oh, and I'm Courgette over there. lol

You got it, Rach – fresh coffee, black, with some of Rump's special house whiskey – Old Lederhosen! Fresh from the still at the back!

And if I may suggest? Perhaps sip it until your lips get numb…

my lips are still numb from going down on Jen earlier. couldn't get any number. ;)

Aww…and we had the wake planned and everything!

Nice to see you Rachel, and we trust that the fact your…ascerbic wit is still on display is a good thing!

Can I get you something, Miss Awesomeness? Beer? Single malt? Single female? Something?

If it's a drink, it's on the house. If a person, it's on the bar, OK?

coffee, please. no cream, no sugar - just a splash of whiskey.
