I'm entering this one so anyone who reads my stuff better get ready to have some super gay shit shoved down their throats.
err... what's getting shoved down my throat now...?

I think that's silly that someone wouldnt read your story because youre not a gay male writing it. I dont think Stephen King is a psycho-murderer, yet he seems to tap into them pretty decently. I havent read your story yet, Kimmi, but it's definitely on my list.

Sprite Sorry, sorry, by published authors I meant people who have had books published or stories in anthologies. People published on Lush (who have been here 30 months or fewer,) are fine. In the last comp, of 23, winners and mentions there wasn't without an art amogi.

Hi, I wonder if anyone else thinks there should be an icon letting people know your orientation next to your profile or photo. so when people check when you are online and they want to browse a particular profile they will know if the person is straight, lesbian, transgender, etc. I think it would be easier and then allows you to choose whether to view a profile not only by gender but also by preference.
If this is an acceptable idea, I wonder whether the site mods will raise this to see if it can be introduced. Maybe I am not alone in thinking this would be a great addition.

I don't particularly have an issue with one previous comp winners (or top three) can't enter, or maybe just anyone that has won or placed in the past 12 months, and one for newer members might be interesting, although it seems like we're penalizing folks that have been long-term members and site supporters for no particular reason. A good, solid, long-term Lush member can't play the game, even to compete on a level playing field? Nah, that makes no sense.

I would like a comp restricted to those who have been on the site 30 months or fewer, are not comp winners and are not published authors. At least half the judges would come from the same group and judging would be based on content, not how well the entry was embellisshed with art.

Just saw Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon and Blood Machines.
Watch Blood Machines high. It's an hour of mostly synth music, psychedelic imagery and a bare bones narrative involving a naked woman flying through space. I saw it sober and have no fucking idea what I witnessed.
Leslie Vernon was hilarious though, must see for slasher fans.

Tough call — making me choose just one. If I had to hold one story up that epitomises your gift for storytelling, it would have to be, "Dorothy Does Neverland".
After she and her friend Wendy share tales of their misspent youth, Dorothy decides she would like a bit of Hook action herself. So ingenious of you to make the good captain's hook detachable, the fixing point for so many contraptions capable of bringing a girl pleasure. And having the crocodile turn up just when it did! Pure erotic genius.
— oh, sorry! Wrong Lost Girl. You're the writer who did that Alice through the looking glass thingy for the Lush masturbation competition, aren't you? The one where Alice fails to get through the mirror after seeing her own beautiful reflection.
Or am I'm confusing your story with one of Alan Moore's graphic thingies?
Sorry, I'm having a senior moment! What's your name again?

Three different times. Of course, that's over my whole tenure here, so not all that often. The tone and style of my Les and especially Dark pieces are sometimes radically different than my RR stuff, so it's not surprising that it would look out of place when I put one of them in the queue.
