Author's Notes

"It is a dark moment in the final three episodes of Memories in Time. Bunny is torn between worlds as Siren’s immense love for her deepens. The evil Captain Blood, obsessed with ultimate power, pursues Siren’s magical island at all costs, threatening Bunny’s life and the romantic answer to her deepest dreams."

Intro

Arising Siren travels across time through memories and enters the minds and imaginations of different people with the help of her mysterious counterpart, Dr. Bunny Sanguine. Armed with seductive powers and unclothed in remarkable beauty, Siren immerses the lives of others in descriptive sex, love, and conflict with hopes of making their wildest erotic dreams come true.

Episode four

A bright light flashed from the morning sun, and an angel’s dream had just begun. White clouds parted to a lost world below, where the mountains bowed down to her seas of old. She arose from her Island of the Sweetest Sand but chose to guard her precious friend’s life until the end. She glided across her Ocean of Loneliness, racing toward a magical disturbance. Saltwater kissed her breath under the melting sky, but her sea grew dark as the day fell to night.

Towering waves bellowed. Heave. Ho. Her unforgiving ocean swelled below her gliding ghost. Thunderclouds blackened, and the sky began to rain, like the calm before the storm and the storm before her pain. Lightning cracked the sky as thunder shook the deep, but her spirit clung to life as her heart fought to sing. Under the cloak of darkness, her hallowed song soared toward the pale moon over a dangerous seashore.

Land ho, an abandoned lighthouse on a misty horizon, where those waves clash and claw at the jagged rocks, climbing. She took to the sky to encircle the old tower, where the butterfly trespasses upon the midnight hour. Up by the window, her friend peers in, desperate to see where her dream will end. The captain’s thirst for power rules his hardened heart, but an evil potion spilled could tear true love apart. Her fear of loss and promise of gain grant her one last chance to save what still remains. Only one can protect her friend's innocent skin from his consuming fire in the evening wind.

She arose from her island but chose to die as a tear fell from her deep blue eyes. Between memories in time, at a searing sting of death, she gave the kiss of life from her immortal breath. She cast her light down like a fallen star from above to her plunging sacrifice of hope for undying love.

The butterfly perched upon the abandoned lighthouse tower, gazing at the wreckage of a shattered green window. Bunny’s scarlet wings shimmered in the midnight hour, but her green eyes peered into the tower below. It was her only way in and only way out, but she had never dared to take this step before. She dreamt of this tower a thousand times again, fearing this entrance was her one and final door.

"Here it is again," she said, approaching the magical opening. "But where will my dream surely end?"

Siren’s whispering spirit finally reached her, weaving across the ocean’s emptiness. "Bunny. Bunny, this is not for you to know. Only one shall enter here. Let me enter alone.”

"I must see it this time," Bunny replied, peering into the darkened tower and gazing downward over its spiraling staircase.

Siren turned away, crushed by what her precious friend would soon see. “What you shall see... shall not be unseen."

Curiosity clouded the questions that consumed her, but Bunny felt many answers would soon await her. She spread her scarlet wings, drew a deep breath, and took the daring leap. She plunged into the grave tower, gliding downward toward her deep unknown. The old walls began stretching, slowly twisting and bending. The air started thinning, and the tower began dimming. She landed alone upon a stone walkway, seeing scattered bones in an ancient hallway leading toward a battened doorway. Suddenly, a familiar, sinister whisper echoed down the chilling chamber and slithered deep within her.

“I found that bloody island before and will find it again.”

“Siren, is that him? Where are you? Can you hear me?” she called for her repeatedly, but now there was no answer. She felt her heart had stopped from his haunting voice within her, but she bravely approached the doorway, peering around its forbidden corner. She saw a magic candle on a table, burning by two swirling potions, and Captain Blood by a crystal ball, searching tirelessly across the oceans. Wave by wave, ghostly images passed as Bunny strained to see, finding her Holiday Harbor, Captain Joy, and her face upon the sea.

"I’ve found you, Bunny. I've found you,” Captain Blood sneered from his crystal ball, and he began to laugh. Then he peered at the magic candle and raised his voice at last.

“It’s my island. Mine!”

Reaching for the first bottle, he drank its swirling potion. Then he held it beside the candle and spoke its incantation. “To me for my protection, but to you for your destruction.” He gripped the final bottle, raised it above the magical candle, and poured sweet sand through the flickering flame.

“Oh no!” Bunny gasped at the final potion, burning as bright as the brightest ocean, stolen from the sweetest sand of Siren’s island, and she quickly turned to leave. Captain Blood raised his curse of burning destruction, brewed in the potion of his protection, and spoke its evil incantation.

“An evil potion spilled to tear true love apart. An evil curse to kill and grant me what I want.”

He spilled his burning curse, spreading flames across the room in an all-consuming fire, but he was not consumed. Bunny flew from the battened doorway, but his fire filled the hall, searing her scarlet wings as she ascended the staircase walls. She was desperately struggling, feeling her scarlet wings stinging. She saw the window was nearing, hearing Siren crying and pleading, fighting but failing to break through. In a burst of flames, Bunny soared through the shattered window, glimpsing Siren one last time, but as her lifeless body plunged into the Ocean of Loneliness, Siren watched her die.

In the twinkling of an eye and a thousand dreams away, the sunlight shone through their blinds upon the dawn of a summer‘s day.

“Bunny. Bunny, wake up!”

Bunny awoke in a cold sweat, clothed in only her scarlet hair and purple sheets, clutching her glowing shell necklace, which Siren had gifted her ages ago. Remembering her dream of her death through the fire, she drew her green eyes to her precious friend lying beside her.

“My darling, I had a disturbing dream,” she spoke calmly, composing herself properly. Her freckled hand was still trembling, stroking Siren’s warm skin softly.

“In your sleep, your dreams are my dreams, and my cries are within your heart,” Siren replied, gazing deep into Bunny’s green eyes.

“Yes, darling. I saw you before I... It is the same dream every night, only this time, I...”

“You died,” Siren finally sighed, breaking their unspoken silence.

Bunny looked away through their unbroken bedroom window. “They say if you die in your dreams, you will soon die in real life.”

Siren sat quickly. “I will not allow this dream to come true,” she proclaimed bravely.

Bunny looked back slowly. “No, Siren,” she said sternly. “I have explained this before. Mind travel is one thing, but you must not interfere with life and death, especially my own.”

“Bunny, why?” Siren pleaded as a tear fell from her deep blue eyes. “Why must I stand by… to just watch you die?”

“Promise me, my angel,” she said, wiping a tear from her breast, “that you will not guard me from death.”

Siren bowed down, resting her head on Bunny’s breasts, and spoke her binding words with a breath, “I promise,” but she lowered for her slowly.

“You do not have to do that, honey,” Bunny sighed as Siren parted her freckled thighs.

“I want you. I need you…”

Bunny shut her eyes quickly, feeling Siren kiss her intimately. She arched her back, letting go uncontrollably. “Oh, Siren.”

Through the eyes of a guardian angel, drawing her lover close, Siren seized her beloved’s treasure with the scent of a scarlet rose. From the height of her mortal pleasure to the depth of her carnal groans, Bunny embraced the glorious sensation in the wake of undying love. Surrendering to burning obsessions, in the fire of raging emotions, as deep as the deepest oceans, drinking their drops of heaven, they sealed their eternal union. True love could only deepen, could only widen, could only strengthen, could not be broken, could not be beaten, and would never be lost.

As a silhouette sighing in the shadows behind the morning sunlight, Siren held her beloved by her side, resting her golden blond hair upon her lover’s broken heart, and quietly cried.

“...I love you.”

But in Bunny’s mortal conflict, she has never replied, torn between a world of forbidden love for her guardian angel and now Siren’s glimpse into her eternity, that she will soon die.
