Spent. I lay beside you, both our chests heaving as our hearts pounded and seemingly tried to escape. Our breathing was deep as we both recovered. 

Was it the distance? Was it the time we had been apart?

We had both known exactly what to do, both known what each other liked. There had been no hesitancy, no uncertainty.  We closed the door of the room and were in each other's arms. We were hungry for each other and we feasted. 

Who said it first? Does it matter? “It is so good to finally meet you.”
