This is a bit of a sore subject for me. I lost a job because I was falsely accused. The resulting investigation, talking to some of the people I supervised, resulted in no one backing the accusations. They never even let me respond to the accusation, fired me for "failing to operate per job description". They wouldn't even confirm who the accuser was.
