and, of course, jeopardy.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

So, how is it? I was a fan of the books and the first TV version from the eighties (which starred, among others, future Dr. Who Peter Davison) but I have not heard much about the new TV show yet.

I am currently watching Russian Doll on Netflix but kind of stalled on episode 3 (of 8). Loved the first two episodes but this one isn't grabbing me in the same way.

i loved reading the books too and, while the series is kind of abbreviated, it's very well cast and keeps the flavor perfectly. highly recommended. smile

Have you noticed a difference in the categories that they use in Jeopardy?

I find that there is far less fine arts topics like opera and Broadway since Ken Jennings took over.

Over all it seems that the questions are easier than usual. This might be because they seem to only be accepting contestants from California since the pandemic began.

Some of the final jeopardy questions have been really hard. The rest is kind of a mix. The first round does seem a little easier, but not annoyingly so. And Ken was rough at first but is settling in now. That said, it's impossible to really replace Alex.

What new TV shows start in March? Channels?
Hopefully, I am posting correctly to this forum... recently, I've been watching Swat and 911, and sometimes, Stalker (with Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott).

Buz - I'm stalking you. haha.
Ok I just finished watching The Investigation. It’s completely in Danish, but I was still so wrapped up in the story of Kim Wall. Such a tragic true story that was told beautifully. I loved how they purposely didn’t give the murderer any air time and concentrated on telling the victims story.
Btw side note: WHAT A BEAUTIFUL LANGUAGE

Since my last post, I watched the following:

Season 11 of Archer
Season 3 of Disenchantment
Season 6 of Brooklyn 99

Currently, I'm watching season 7 of Modern Family.

Island Getaway Comp(2nd place): Fucked In The Head

My last published story: An Unlucky Good Time

Them

Kind of slow and very disturbing imagery.

Episode 9 is a masterpiece and could stand alone as a very good short film.

The critics reviews are very polarizing. I'm beginning to think that certain people probably shouldn't be reviewing TV shows as a job.

https://www.vulture.com/article/review-them-amazon-series.html

This is one of the worst and misleading reviews I have ever read. And there are many others like it.

I don't get it, but even if you don't watch the whole thing, I suggest that you watch episode 9 that, like I said, can stand alone as it's own film.

We just binged the first seven episodes, staying up VERY late because we couldn't stop watching. I started out thinking it was a bit too heavy handed and obvious, but JEEZ, it just keeps getting weirder and more disturbing. There is one scene that felt like a baseball bat to the chest.

Luckily, I've read no reviews. Looking forward to episode 9 after reading this.

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

Just want to go on record saying that I believe the Sharon Carter depicted in Falcon and Winter Soldier is our introduction to the evil faction of the Skrulls that will play out in Secret Invasion.

Three Alarm <= Almost famous, give it a read and get it one step closer!

I'm also watching Mare of Easttown and The Nevers
Since I was last here I watched the following:

Falcon and Winter Soldier
Invincible
Community(season 1 and 2)
The Legend of Korra(resumed season 3 last night)

Tried out Final Space and was pretty meh about it.

Island Getaway Comp(2nd place): Fucked In The Head

My last published story: An Unlucky Good Time

I just started The Nevers as well.

And how is it?

I love Joss Wheden (yeah, I know), but this has gotten such mixed reviews, and I can't figure which ones are legit and which ones are a knee-jerk pushback against Mr. Whedon. I'm not defending him. I just wanna know if it's a good show or not.

Ex and I have been watching the above for a while now.

It's a stupid cute show and we laugh way too much.

I just started watching Greenleaf. The cast is amazing, talented and incredibly beautiful, stunning.

The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.
