Because I know a few authors better than others, I know when what they write is based on more "truth" than fiction. I'm sure we have a lot of stories here that are more truth than fiction, but we assume they are fictional because this is a story site with stories that are clearly fictional (sci-fi, supernatural, fantasy, etc.) I'm sure most authors here have used an element of their real live and woven it into a fine fictional tale. I've had situations that were the foundation for some of my pieces because they allowed for a great fictional situation.

Honestly, I'd love to see more new authors with more great stories. Happily... that's really not much of an issue.

I would love to see some stories based on porn stars, Especially Marilyn Chambers. There are some sites out there that have fan fiction as a category, but they tend to obsess on Harry Potter, Star Wars and the celeb flavor of the month. That's probably one of the reasons it's not a Category on LS.....I know-I know, someone is gonna end up replying: "Why don't you just watch their movies", but I'd like to see something NEW....seeing that she won't be making any more;-( Marilyn's Private Fantasies series may have started as just that, fan fiction, and ended up becoming the story lines/plots of those movies. Judging by their popularity, I think it's an under utilized genre in today's Erotica. What do y'all think?

I got my first proper rejection from LS a couple of months ago for a story written in script format. It wasn't anywhere in the publication guidelines, but apparently scripts are not 'story' enough for the site. (But poetry is??? Maybe if I had written it in a more Shakespearean style...) So I guess I'd like to see more scripts/plays on lush, and it would be cool to add the audio element to those as well.

Lush does not allow fan fiction or the use of famous people in the stories posted here. This is primarily for trademark and other legal issues.

Now, if you wanted to write something loosely based on the person, changing their name entirely of course, that's perhaps allowed.

I think scripts would be cool too, particularly if they were performed in audio.

Okay, I have to admit, I am a dirty old man. I love so many of the hot sexy stories here on lush, but really get off on lesbian, FFM, MMF, bi-sexual MMF, *removed - we don't do the I word on lush* and many cuckold stories (among others.)

As a younger man I seemed to almost always read the lesbian stories first. I also get very turned on with well written male-female stories, true or fantasy.

I would like to read more about Gender-Play/reversal with pegging.

Usually stories that involve this are all mostly with lots of domination and humiliation. But I think more romantic and sensual stuff would be so good.

I've written one such short series which happens to be my first few submissions to the site, but yeah. I would love to read stories by other authors that concentrate on these topics.

While I'm basically into cuckold stories, one topic I can't seem to find is stories on the emotional/romantic side of the hot wife/lover relationship. Most stories don't seem to feature this because I think authors are scared to go there. Wouldn't it be more realistic if the hot wife and her lover had an emotional bond? The closest seems to be the hot wife/ex-boyfriend, because they had something before she met her husband. I find the whole prospect of potentially losing the wife to her lover to be very erotic and dangerous for the cuckold and his wife, and it adds an element of intrigue to what are basically just typical Cuck stories.

I love stories that contain Spanking so I would love to see more of those type of stories.

Within that category I would love to read some stories where couples are spanked together by either a man or a woman. It something I think that is missing from the spanking scene. It will take more work but it's still worth the effort. Plus, if you work hard at it you'll see marked improvement in your writing skills.

I am dyslexic and one of the reasons I started writing erotica was to improve my writing skills for my career in business. As a dyslexic, you'll need a more in depth and thorough proofing system than other people. So be patient with it if you decide to jump in.

And after extensive proofing yourself, always use a set of fresh eyes to proof behind you. So make friends with someone who has a good knowledge of grammar and is a thorough reader.

It's a lot of fun.

Grammar is definitely one of my down falls. We weren't even taught it in school, so I never stood a chance of ever getting it spot on. The other down falls are words of the same shape that the spell checker misses and words that have the same sound and different meanings.

Over the years I have had to write for work so my skills have improved since what I left school. I even have some published work (not stories), but that was proof read by others before it was sent to a publisher.

The story is in my head, it will just be getting it down on paper. Thanks for all the advice.
