May I ask: favorite author or favorite writer? I find people here CAN fuse the two. I can do that myself. If I love a woman, of course I am going to find everything she does delightful.
However, that said, Lisa has some great stories I have read multiple times. She really writes the genre of stories of greatest interest to me.
Liz and shrpsf have incredible raw talent, and with each piece get better. LauraLee_sugah is my favorite poet and audio author after years of reading poetry.
But the one writer I loved as a writer and great human being off this site BEFORE I ever saw her, and here, continue to love her writing is BethanyFrasier.
Now how many women and men are going to write to me, or may not after this, saying, "I thought you loved my stories!/my poems!"
Please don't go there. I DO love your work, I just can't list everybody, so I purposely kept it very short this time!

I've always been a little reluctant to post in this thread as there are so many good authors here and it's hard to single out just one. However, I do believe that DanielleX is worthy of a special mention. She consistently writes just the hottest girl/girl stories and I would urge readers to have a look at her Renaissance Of The Heart series. They're full of romance, love, sex and meticulously detailed plots revolving around the world of fine art. They've also just won the Lush Series Award. I can guarantee a fabulous read if you take the plunge and have a look.

All the mods. Here's something some of you may or may not be aware of. When we pick the story mods, a lot of weight goes into the quality of their writing. Anyone with a story moderator badge by their name is, in my opinion, one of the top writers on Lush - that doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of high quality writers not on the mod team (Mazza comes to mind, though she was a mod at one time. Steph - same story, but yeah, they are out there). So yeah, my list? My entire team of story mods, with a special shout out to JessicaX - read her Assassin of Time stories - they're really phenominal.

Without patronizing or pandering, there are beau coups of talented writers. Accolades do not make a thermometer. It depends on how one describes talent.
Delphi and Buz
If you haven't read either one of them you are missing out on some truly amazing talent.
Delphi has a richness to her stories. You feel every breath, every touch and every emotion. She is brilliant.
Buz, hmm, the word that best describes his stories is, cool. Buz has this wonderful way of making his stories the coolest ones in the room. There is such a dirty, gritty realness to them. With him you are always guaranteed to have a fun, sexy ride.
