Yes they do. I I don't think many people are aware of that. Men shouldn't ignore a lump in that area either. Of course its less common for men but it is what it is. I had a male friend who lost the fight. He fought for 2 years. He was so brave. He was 37 when he left us. *Kisses to you Robbie.*

A girlfriend of mine (41yo) lost the fight after 5 years leaving behind a husband and 5yo son. She fought SO hard for 5 years. A full mastectomy, several rounds of chemotherapy then got a terminal diagnosis 3 years later. It had spread to her bones. She'd told me that she just wanted to live long enough for her son to be a little independent and hopefully remember her a little. In the end she died of a heart attack while she was in hospital. Her poor body had become so fragile from drug treatments that her heart couldn't cope anymore.

HOWEVER my mother WON the fight at 41yo and has been a survivor for 11 years. There IS hope. Never give up the fight. Fight like a GIRL!

I had 2 friends who survived breast cancer one was a girl I went to school with with young kids like me and it was heartbreaking for us all and her family and young children.

A very generous anonymous lushie has also pledged to match and donate whatever the final tally is for the boob show. Is like to point out also, the cost of the gold membership is not being taken from any of the other money raised.

My mum's currently fighting her 5th type of cancer. She's had skin, bowel, ovarian, lung and now throat. So supporting the fight against any form of cancer is something that's close to home and dear to my heart.
