As a single lesbian female I visit one of our 3 lesbian clubs frequently. There is so sex on the premises (unless you count the occasional encounter in the powder room) but it's a great place to meet other single lesbians for later date and maybe even for sex later at home. The sex at the clubs is very limited in scope and there's never an obvious display of it in the main areas. These are not sex clubs in the raw definition but clubs where future contacts are made. I'd go to a sex club only if it was for females only.
I went to one with a guy and he could not get a single girl to do anything with him except for a very token 30 sec BJ. Meanwhile I was being hit on quite a bit, all in a respectful way but no doubt what the endgame would be. I declined the offers. I went to a different club with a girlfriend and we had a blast with more than a few guys over the night. We went back one more time and had the same kind of fun but we did not want to become "regulars" so have not gone back again.
I'm curious, but I would never get my OH to agree to check one out I don't think!

I'm not 100% sure it could be defined as a 'sex club' but there were plenty of opportunities to swap details whilst having a drink. There was the bit of naughtiness going on in the odd dark corner but the club sort of frowned on having to much of display going.
