OMG It's like the whole Piss on my leg & tell me it's raining thing, All over again. You keep telling me to go into chat rooms that have nothing of interest to me. You want to lean towards an either or scenario, fine. If I don't like it build my own. Look if I want A hamburger I go to A Burger King. I don't build one. When I want to chat I go to A web site that has the kind of chat I'M looking for. I don't expect Long John Silver to start serving hamburgers just for me.I know just like Long John you have your own agenda, fine. I also don't expect Long John to tell I'M wrong for not eating fish or building my own Burger King. You don't want to admit that your bias, fine. You don't have to.You want to say it's my way or the highway, Fine. But don't get your panties in A bunch when I fire up my rig & head on down the road. As A professional driver I have spent A lot of years on the road. One thing it's taught me is, theres always another joint to check out around the next bend.I hope this will bring this argue ment to A close. Because quite frankly it's getting old fast.
Insinuating any sort of bias when it comes to specific groups of people is laughable at best.

Lush is run by one woman with the help of a handful of volunteers. all the tech/coding/programming changes are done by one man, without any assistance. there are a lot of projects in the works for the site, some are public knowledge, some are not. sometimes, you have to set priorities.
This is an extremely important statement.
And to add, the one man that does all the tech/coding/programming for the site (Gav) does so voluntarily and in addition to his actual full-time job which entails the same thing. Plus a family...a rather large family.
There's an entire backlog of changes that need to be done to the site...a few months' worth, actually. So just be patient. This whole member input thing is a double-edged sword. How many online communities have you been a part of where not only suggestions taken into consideration, but they're also encouraged and implemented? I think that has spoiled us, and that when we make a suggestion and it isn't seen through right away, we get antsy. Which is rather bold considering not many sites give a rat's ass about suggestions...let alone actually implementing them.
Maybe a CD/Trans/Whatever else room is already on Gav's long list of things he has to add to this site, and maybe it isn't. But I tell you one thing, berating the people (who, by the way, have relatively little to do with how/when/what changes are rolled out on the site) trying to offer the best solutions they can for the time being will get you no where.

Well that could be a good reason to have a permanent room.
By the way, I saw that the Gallery had 3 people in it the other day. Is there a Monet exhibition on, lol.
This is pretty funny.
I'm not sure if you were around during the inception of The Gallery, but it was created because of a thread much like yours. A few people demanded a permanent room devoted to pic-posting because of the popularity of member-created image rooms, and they wanted one for when said members weren't around to create those rooms. And well, you see the results.
I'm not saying this as a deterrent for a CD room or the like, as we have quite a few rooms that are typically empty, so one more room that may or may not be put to use wouldn't hurt. But I can also see why creating another chat room isn't at the top of Gav's list of priorities.
