Do you enjoy making promotional "posters" for your stories? Some of the ones I've seen are very cool. Feel free to post them here, with or without links to the stories that they advertised. I think it would be great to have a good collection in one place to show them off.
I've written two stories of "Girls on Top" - strong women that break the rules and go after what they want (with a few twists and turns along the way, of course). The first one involves getting revenge on a cheating boyfriend, and the second one involves a female stalker that's obsessed with an erotica author, and won't take 'no' for an answer.
** Note: I have had so many people on Lush ask me if characters in this story (or the concept) was based on them... lol... and the answer is 'no, they are composite characters' - totally fictitious - but many people here will be able to relate to them.
I love writing about 'Dirty Bad Girls' - clever ones, bitchy ones, these two stories are compatible with each other and share the same characters but offer different perspectives. They also work as stand-alone pieces.
I knew anything I did was either going to be cheesy or crap, so I went with the kind of theme on books I used to read in the 80s growing up, and just enjoyed making them, as opposed to trying too hard. I don't really publicise my stuff, I just make them for the fun of it. I also feel uncomfortable with pictures of naked people and stuff, so I just used pictures I am happy to (I know, very sad when you consider what I've actually written about):
The poems I write that I did pictures for, I just kept them simple. I pushed the boat out on one of them, but that's as far as it goes!
