This competition is all about trying something new, different, from your normal sexual activities.

Competition Theme

It's a competition about sexual firsts (but not loss of virginity), e.g., first anal, first toy, first swinging experience ... you choose!

We want to hear about journeys of discovery, about eye opening experiences.

As an added challenge, all entries for this competition must be 5000 words or fewer.

Let the madness begin.
Cry havoc and let slip the authors of filth.
got an idea for this one (thanks, Jack!).

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

He always gets rebooted for the sequels!
And in the Japanese versions of the movies he always wins!

Ominous... smile
Sounds like a terrific concept for a comp
I have an idea.

And a spring break with which to write.
Finally... an excuse to flush out an idea I've been toying with for some time now.

Nymph, please... It's a competition thread on a writing site.

There is a difference between some time and sometime but that can be tricky for newer writers.

Also, I think you meant "flesh" out an idea. But flush "down" (the toilet) would be correct as well.

I totally agree and thank you so much my friend for reminding me! Spring break allows me the necessary time since work has kept me so busy lately. I'm looking forward to all the great stories... despite whatever the haters might think.
Hi! Not sure if this is the right place to ask lol but I'll try smile

I entered a story (or thought I had) to the comp called Late Night Bus, but it came up as a normal published story. I know you guys are terribly busy but I made some small edits, added a note and resubmitted but I don't think it has been seen as yet.

Was this the correct thing to do?

Sorry to be a pain!

Apologies for the delay. The story queue is hellishly busy at the moment.

I have sorted this for you. :)

Thank you so much! Is there anything I can do to help?

We are always looking to add to our team of volunteer story moderators.

If you think that might interest you, please drop me a PM to let me know and I will pass your name along. smile
So, if I enter a story in a competition, and it is not found to be matching Lush guidelines, will it be sent back by a mod, just like regular stories? Is there one mod that ushers it onto the site prior to voting?

The entire verifying team processes competition stories. All comp stories must meet the prerequisite Lush guidelines, plus the competition guidelines. Comp guidelines are word limit and the story subject must be about whatever the theme of that particular comp is. Yes, if they don't meet the guidelines they will be sent back with the reasons why. Comp stories are verified in the same process the other stories are.

After the competition deadline, the comp stories are read by a panel of judges who determine the winners. The judges are unknown to the verifiers.

Comp stories are handled by any mod, just like regular stories. It's not tasked to anyone in particular xx

Edit: Buz types quicker than me. I've heard it's cos he uses his penis too

Is this penis envy.....I never understood that.
Just a quickie, I've entered a story to the comp but as always I find things I'm not happy with or kind readers give me some excellent pointers.

My question is should I leave making changes until the comp has been closed and the awards handed out or throw caution to the wind and make amendments now?

I have this exact same question. Can we make tiny changes, like fixing typos or the tense of a verb or cutting a word, after we have entered? I don't mean wholesale changes, just minor tweaks.
The entries aren't actually *judged* until the competition closes, right?
Tweaks are absolutely fine. Mods tend not to edit comp pieces, so you may see something after it's been published that you want to fix/change. No worries to send it back in, and yes, the judging takes place after the comp is closed xx

no, but the authors are...
