I'm trying to figure this out. If I block some it only blocks my ability to see their reply? Why? What good does that do? So I can send them a nasty note and I can't see their response?

Think about this sexy lady... if it cuts down some of the drama and bullshit... it's all worth it. Honestly... I only have issues with a tiny number of members (I could count the number on one hand) so I see this as a major drama reducer.

I thought it was a great idea. If I've got someone blocked WHY would I log out so I could see what they wrote? I wouldn't. Why would the blocker care? Isn't that why they blocked them? If someone quotes me then posts something nasty it's their way of making sure I see it on my timeline.

Why put a message on my timeline at all that the person quoted me? If I've blocked them I don't want to know.

I'm new here so I have not had cause to block anyone... Yet. It almost seems that if a person is that disagreeable, then wouldn't your block almost seem like a badge of honor to them?

So, what I am understanding, any person I have blocked, I will not be able to to there post. It will show to that person,"I have them blocked"? So there for ,it seems, I have to unblock people to keep down on drama, or become a Mod. Guess no more forums for me if I am understanding it right. Yes I have a couple people blocked ,but they have no idea, and why push it in there face, To me that is asking for drama. Just my opinion.

They're not. They do it for the shock factor or the attention. Nothing more. Trolls think they are smarter than everyone else and maybe some are a bit higher on the intelligence scale, but in the end, for those of us who have chosen to not view their nonsense any more, we will be much happier and the site will be much more enjoyable.
