Mmmmmm... if that were in cream color, it would be my dream car!

Beth,
It was a pearlesent color before I restored it. There was not a bunch of color choices to make it original in the restoration, so I chose an original Jaguar Red. It has been reupholstered in Corinthian leather with a Burl Walnut dash. I removed the SU carbs and manifold, replacing them with Webers. The Borgwarner tranny is six speed with racing clutch. I punched it on the Pear Blossom highway driving to Vegas. It was at 150mph at 4,300rpm. It doesn't redline till 6,200. I didn't have the guts to find top speed. Lol. Men and their toys.

You'll loan it to me to drive up and down the PCH, won't you? :-) I can SO picture myself pulling into Nepenthe on the Big Sur in that beauty!

Sure. But the clutch is tricky. I just got a speeding ticket on the PCH in Malibu. It was kind of funny. The CHP wanted to check out my engine and asked if the knockoff wire wheels were real. (They are). Gonna cost me 600 bucks but what the hell....

In many countries being gay is a crime, and even in modern societies, politicians try to legalise discrimination. Your voice can make a difference. Have a look at All Out to find out how.

My current 4wd offering other than my hunting pickup. It's a 2015 Toyo 4Runner XP model. It came with the blackout rims and badging. It's parked on one of my Florida hunting leases in this picture. It's my daily ride but I feel guilty driving it so much. I'm looking for a car as my daily driver.

I restored it myself.

Oh God, that's a beauty. I love E-type Jags with a disproportionate amount of passion. And that red ... perfect.

(Apparently I have not been following this thread very closely since it took me two years to notice Chuck's car).

A Miata in British Racing Green? That's one I could go for.

Currently driving boring stuff: Honda Civic and CR-V, both black. Solid cars, nice to drive, but won't turn heads the way Chuck's Jag must.
