Many of what they call a movie in porn today just focuses on sex acts. There is no plot. That is the trend that I dislike. Porn movies in the late 1970s and early 1980s all had plots. This at least made them interesting, and the sex action was driven by the plot. Also, many porn flicks today are not female friendly, with strong female characters; and that makes it hard for couples to watch them. There are couples friendly porn flicks, but there are fewer of them available.

Oh man, finally a place to vent my frustrations...
- Seeing women dressed for a night club when supposedly doing housework or just hanging around the house. Personally, seeing a woman dressed in normal clothes get seduced and stripped would be SO much more exciting, not to mention believable.
- Boobs so fake the nipples point in opposite directions. Now I know it's not the woman's fault and I do feel sorry for them, but as a viewer it's very distracting.
- Tattoos that cover large parts of the body. This goes for both men and women. Seriously, I want to see skin, not ink. Besides, how the fuck am I supposed to get turned on looking at a python or octopus or Satan?

I have a fairly wide range of erotic tastes so there a few sexula acts I purposely avoid in the typical freely available videos.

What turns me off is when one or both of the actors simply aren't into it. To me, that includes most of the available content. As often as not, I prefer audio stories to the video media, but even then it requires a reader or voice actor who is genuinely into the performance. I'm a very empathic individual and if the a reader is not invested emotionally in what they are doing I become bored extremely quickly

The closest thing that I have seen to a porn soap opera is "Fantasies of the President" (original title is "Madame le PDG"). It is a French film from the Canal+ studio, but there are versions out there that are dubbed in English. The US DVD title is "Dirty State Affairs".
