My motivations for being on Lush have changed vastly over the years.
Nowadays I come to occasionally do some writing, to read and support the many amazing writers here. I mostly keep coming to Lush because of the people. I have met some great (and not so great) people here.
Some of those people have become truly amazing friends to me that I couldn’t imagine not having in my life. Also, lush brought to me my Mr Driven ~ my best friend, my lover. We both are forever grateful to Lush for that.

Many moons in the past, I found Lush for the stories. It wasn't until maybe 3 or 4 years ago that I took a gamble on the chat portion of the site. The Forums can be fun, also. Lately it is rare that I find anything very interesting about chat.
I was on here before. But when I got home from an extended vacay, I had to self quarantine. So what better way to pass time than on Lush. Read a story, chat, play. Glad it is here for us

A bigger audience for my stories. Started writing in December 2019 and shared stories with a few contacts. Not everyone on there is interested in reading, or gives feedback soon after I send them. Sometimes I have to resend them as they forget and delete the chat.

I came here because my story Masks, which you may find on my profile, was turned down by Literotica for "possible sexual contact for minors". Well, read it. yourself and you can tell me just how absurd that charge was. So was pissed, i had a story i really belived in and needed a place to put it where someone besides close friends might read it. Lush gave me that and some new friends as well. In return, i will continue creating new stories.
I grew up on short stories. Hemingway's Nick Adams. Mark Twain. Thurber. Then I had a wet dream to my big brother's Penthouse, and stories became sexual outlets. The internet evolved and created an entire new wealth of filth from the GNC (Global Nerd Community). It enabled me to embrace my bisexuality, and sent me on a quest for the hottest bisexual stories in cyberspace.
When Lush was launched my outdated web crawlers struck erotic diamonds. The mother lode. As I began writing myself I aspired to do better, and finally arrived at the point I was willing to risk derision and criticism from real artists. And then I was welcomed to the Lush community and my musings brought pleasure to others.

I originally came here in April as a kind of lockdown hobby, wanting to write down some of the stories that were buzzing around in my head, most of which I still haven't written. But since then I have got far more out of Lush than I had expected and I'm now addicted.
