at the time I selected this, I was still using dial-up service to connect to the internet. I was looking for some gifs and images to use to post on peoples walls, or here in the forums. I was having no luck downloading anything directly from the internet to my image gallery, so I tried downloading about a dozen to my computer, then uploading them to my mage gallery. this was the only one that worked. about that time, several of my friends were changing their avs, so i decided to change my av to this one. Now, anytime I even suggest changing it, I get letters of protest. It does seem to have become rather well known and unique.

My avatar is a pic of the ship's wheel on a tall ship. The helm is a ship's control centre, the place where one sets and holds their course. Someone needs to be there all the time, when the ship is in motion. Just like your brain is your control centre, and your biggest sex organ, you should keep it active, in control all the time.
