apptobebad, the Alaska Salmon Bake has a Dessert House where they offer chocolate and white cake. They have Alaska blueberries to go over your cake too if you want. But no cheesecake. don't know where to start... am as angry as hell... yet just made fun of the situation and got jumped on by those who work around me.. [am still learning how to work, otherwise i would of said "my fellow workmates" .. or something like that]

i don't know if it's all his fault .. or the idiot member of the general public who has never heard of ZORRO.. [is that possible in America??? ... i mean i have never seen the movie, but there is always Google!]..

so this idiot member sees a masked man [ZORRO costume] ... with a PLASTIC SWORD!!.. and yells out "SHOOTER"..
so hundreds and hundreds start running.. they spill out of departure areas onto the tarmac areas .. they all try to rush outside .. absolute panic ..

and worst of all ... this is really bad.. they turn the bloody lights off in the lounge???? ... and we are told to go to our safety places???? ... just where are they??? ... i have never been given safety instructions on entering a lounge! .. never!.. anywhere... and i travel a lot! ... perhaps the lounge staff are all ex-flight attendants and the reverse side of the menu has safety instructions showing how to find the panic rooms.. in the dark!!!

and it is sacrilege to turn off the lights when a guest .. [they call passengers "guests" now]... when a guest is enjoying a good coffee and sipping a rather neat Martell !!! i mean you could spill it!... i'd rather be shot!

neat way to cause havoc in a lounge .. turn off the lights.. tell everyone to find their safe places.. then tell us there are reports of a "shooter"... in that order... why turn off the lights????????? ... maybe AFTER everyone is in hiding????
[do they know how hard it is to carry a coffee, neat cognac AND your purse AND your laptop, in the dark????!!!!!]

soooo we are delayed over three hours ... but finally .. after armed police ..[i thought ALL police in America were armed? .. or are 'armed police' the ones with the BIG guns and armour and tanks and stuff?] ... had 'stormed' whichever terminal ZORRO was cavorting in .. if he was cavorting that is... and not just on his way to a comic book convention .. we get away in the the designed fashion on AAL10.. a whole plane load of nervy jittering passengers who drank all the way to NY.. well i did...

now .. after 48 hours... i see both the tragic and funny sides of what happened... but , as usual, i take the funny side and poke fun ... and the whole office goes ape at me! .. it isn't funny [apparently].. not funny at all [that armed police stromed LA International and took away a man dressed as ZORRO, who had a plastic sword] ... there was the same panic i saw Sunday night.. right here, today, in the office... everyone getting downright serious and tell me off for my [natural] frivolity... [omg ... do you think that daesh might be winning??????]

a friend told me about Americans in Venice when the Paris shootings occurred ... and how they had to get away immediately! ... not home, but to London .. they thought they would be safe in London!

so why am i soooo angry??? ... it's the panic that really upsets me.. [edited out the unladylike] .. it's like ...'surrender'!

This is so sad. Pitbulls have such a bad reputation because of people like this. Many people use them for wrongdoings and the poor dog suffers the consequences. Our pitbull was so sweet unless fully provoked. He would guard with a bark and a growl but never purposely hurt anyone or anything (except maybe the groundhogs) our Rottweiler is the same way. She is the sweetest most loving 140 pound lap dog you'll ever find. She is sick now and it's sad to see but we love her always.
