About
I am returning to Lush after a long hiatus. Like many of you (I suspect), I seem to lead two quite different lives. In one, I am a very competent professional widely respected among both colleagues and rivals. I am a responsible man who by any reasonable measure is considered stable and a positive influence on his community. But in another life, lived mostly in the mind, I delve into dark passageways that would be off-putting to many and absolutely frightening to some. I am driven to explore human sexuality—in all its marvelous varieties—honestly and genuinely. I am keenly interested in taboo subjects, especially blood, toilet play, pain, bondage, and subjects we will not address on Lush. If you would like to meet my Doberman, Zeus, let me know. Interests
When not writing and reading erotica, I enjoy being outdoors—hiking, kayaking, camping, and pretty much anything else. I am also an avid competitor in endurance/obstacle races, training on a daily basis.
Favorite Books
I could read Bram Stoker's Dracula over and over again. Indeed I have. And if you have never actually read Pride and Prejudice, stop what you are doing and go read it now! Brothers Karamazov and Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness are also favorites. I read maybe 30 or 40 books a year, so this is only a partial list.
Favorite Authors
I am a devotee of the classics. I love Jane Austen and John Steinbeck among others. In non-fiction I am something of a disciple of Machiavelli (who is almost universally misunderstood), and the greatest of all historians, Thucydides. Finally, and this is probably my own personal quirk, but I think Homer’s Odyssey is the greatest love story ever told.
Favorite Movies
Pretty much anything by Quentin Tarantino fascinates me. I also love the films of Whit Stillman—Metropolitan and Barcelona are probably my favorites. Going back a little further in time, who doesn’t love Casablanca and the Maltese Falcon? There are many more movies I could list, but let’s move on.
Favorite TV Shows
I don’t have a lot of time for television these days. But one of my all-time heroes is Buffy the Vampie Slayer! Some other shows I have enjoyed include Deadwood, The Wire, and Jessica Jones.
Favorite Music
My musical tastes are eclectic and tend to go through phases. I have been spending time recently with Liz Phair and Shelby Lynn. And I always return to classical music such as Bach and Rachmaninov.
