I'm trying for omnium by the end of the year. They have a badge called "Prolific Writer" which tells you you have done two thirds of the genres, I think. Get that, then count the remaining ones would be my suggestion.

Thank you, Kimmi. I've used writing as an escape myself in my time, and still do, but writing about happy young people having sex just feels wrong at the moment. I guess it'll pass with time.

Some pretty horrible news from real life has rather killed the mood for writing erotica this month, to be honest. So I'm just lurking as a reader for a while. Hopefully the mood and the muse will return soon. In the meantime, I've been enjoying the return of thepenismightier and WW as always!

My upcoming stories will be stepping stones to the omnium badge. First, I'm going to conclude my current series about a young couple whose lives are turned upside down by an emergency, then onto some tales set in Ancient Egypt.

I've always been scared of heights. It's getting worse as I get older.

If he runs against Biden, he will win. But I predict Biden is going to withdraw. The Democrats will put a younger, fresher candidate up who will beat Trump.

If Trump does win, the difference will be that in his first term, he made a pretense of being a serious, establishment president and kept experienced, cooler heads in the room. In a second, he will surround himself with toadies. What will happen? Who knows.

I think I'm an uneven writer. At my best, yes, I write well. But I'd be the first to admit my work is definitely of mixed quality.

If you have the muse, it never leaves you permanently. Try thinking of one idea, writing a terrible draft, just write, and see what ideas come as you go! That always helps me.
