I think there is a spectrum to this. I can relate to some reasons, but not all.
a) For some men, and this may well be the strict definition of cuckold, they get some kind of thrill from the humiliation. There is some kind of juice from the jealousy as well. I can't relate to that at all. I find no arousal in such a thing, but some do, and I don't judge.
b) Other men, simply want to see their wife pleasured, and they are being generous to her out of love. It's not insecure at all.
