Congratulations to two beloved authors who have worked there cute asses off to write a story in every category and earn the Omnium badge!
Itβs a difficult task which is why itβs a small club.
Katie, I try to keep up, but missed the date you earned your badge. Iβm sorry! And David (wxt55uk) earned his today. Iβm happy for you both! β€οΈ
Thank you, Kimmi. β€οΈ I believe Katie earned hers a couple of months ago. π
Hi, Rumpee's, drinks are on me. π Gets out the polish and rubs my omnium badge. π
Here is the story that got me there... Ms Lush | Lush
Don't laugh; it is very different. π³π And of course, completely true. ππ€£
Pssh! - Do you want to know a secret?

Congrats on the omnium! A goal for myself at some point to, once I stop being lazy and make myself a spreadsheet.
Thank you, Rowan, but my final genre story has not been published yet! Let's say that I believe this story is "Unique" and may need a moderator with a good sense of humour. π
Yes, you do need a spreadsheet. I just hope mine is correct; otherwise, I'm going to be embarrassed. You will see why if/when the story is published! π³π²π

Iβve changed my mind about my fire element story. Going with this storyline now. Theyβre street performers. Me likey. Hope I donβt fuck it up. π€£
You won't, Kimmi. Have faith, and I look forward to reading it.
You already made a great start with that excellent cover. π
Hi, Rumpees, I hope all of you had a good Easter. I did, although not one Easter Egg. My wife suggests I'm too old. I disagree. Still enjoying France then, Bear. π Pity about the manure... still, Pernod Ricard has a strong taste; maybe that will help kill the smell, and by your third glass... π well, you probably won't care. Have fun, and enjoy that sun.
On this side of the channel, it is sunny too. It is meant to reach around 23Β°C today and tomorrow. If it does so, it will be the warmest day of the year so far. π We are off for our holiday on Thursday. Gran Canaria. Maybe I will be able to post a photo here, as I am now planning to take my laptop.
A cup of Yorkshire Tea, please, Lion or Ape. Thank you.
BTW: Do look out for a very different story from me; I hope it will be published, and if it is, I will be polishing an omnium badge. πππ Although there is always the possibility that I miscounted and have missed a genre! π³π€£

Awww congratulations!! Do you know if the twins are identical or fraternal? Make sure you donβt get them mixed up, grandpa! π€£
We questioned Mom several times. Was she SURE she never mixed us up.
Good morning, Kimmi/Rumpee's, fraternal, but there's a long way to go yet. All I can say is that our daughter and her partner are thrilled with being pregnant. π
Helps himself to a Yorkshire Tea, pays π, and shoots back to the British Isles. I have a few things I need to get done today. π

I'm sure Mr Ape, the Davids, Kimmi and Kat will pop in as our other happy patrons
Hi, Rumpees, consider me in the house, I mean, bar. Hi, Mr Lion. π
Then makes a beeline for Big Berta and pours coffee, takes a large gulp, and then uses Bear's wooden ladle to bang on Berta's metal side. I know I'm underplaying this, but I have an announcement. π²
"BANG-BANG-BANG."
I found out last night that if all goes well, I am going to become a grandfather in October. Our youngest is expecting, and not only that β are you listening, Kimmi? β She is expecting twins!
Having twins doesn't run in our family. She will be the first.
So I have only one thing to say: drinks are on my tab today! π

So long story short, Wife and i have started putting to paper some of the things we have done in the past, we had one published on Literotica, i am not familiar with lushstories so probably need help, its a long one at 10987 words
I have written a few long stories here; check out my profile.
10,000 words is the max limit here at LushStories. So you need to split into 2 or 3. My preference is to try to keep long stories broken down into chunks of 3,000 to 5,000 words. Try to find natural breaks in the storyline, or write them in. Cliffhanger chapter endings are fun and good story hooks, but can/will annoy readers. So don't do it on every part.
Good luck.

Greetings from cloudy Normandy!
I hope you all are behaving β¦ but behaving WELL this time β¦ in my absence!
We went to Mass a Notre Dame early on Monday, then wandered around the building afterward. It is FAR cleaner β and more popular β now than it was last time we visited!. A couple of photos for you all, plus the view out of Jay's cousin's window in Normandy, just to remind you all that I'm still alive and β¦ well β¦
Y'all take care now, y'hear?
Fantastic pictures, Bear, thank you for sharing them. π Notre Dame is far cleaner than I remember it when I visited back in the 1990s. I seem to remember it as being impressive on the outside and black and dingy on the inside.

Ooo love the pics, Bear!
Update on me is our cancer gene test came back negative. So yay!
And I convinced Dr to do biopsy on my thyroid. He wonβt do it himself, though, but referring me to someone who just does biopsies since mines in a riskier location and harder due to smaller size. Itβs next Wednesday.
This is indeed excellent news, Kimmi. π β€οΈ Put all your drinks on my tab today, Kimmi. π
This time next week, we should be flying off to Gran Canaria to get some much-needed sun. A mug of Yorkshire tea, please, Lion, Ape. Thank you. π
I'm just pulling up to the bar for my normal mug of Yorkshire Tea, thank you, Lion, Ape and the holidaying Bear. π
As a small way of saying thank you endlessly for manning the 'Rumplations' bar, here is my nod of appreciation. You all lightheartedly get a mention in the latter part of this story. Cash In Hand 12 - "Another Exposure" - Part 1 Of 4
Somertyn Manor temporary reopens and with it comes JJ's first public exposure...

More Rumpies entered the competition!
Fab stuff!
An emotional week coming for me. Genetic results coming tomorrow. Dr appt for my thyroid Wednesday. Hoping to get answers, make a plan, and get this bump in the road behind me!
Drink, please! And a hottie from the storeroom!
Sending hugs and best wishes from the other side of the Atlantic. I hope you receive nothing but good news, Kimmi. Good luck! β€οΈπ
But I do have one issue! I have been propping the bar up for the last couple of years, and no one has mentioned to me that you can order a hottie! π³ Anyway, she (I don't want a dude) wouldn't be any good for my health, especially if my wife found out! A mug of hot Yorkshire tea, please, Lion/Ape, as Bear is away. Thank you.
BTW: I submitted "Cash in Hand 12 - Part 1" yesterday. It is the story where I give the three of you a nod as a way of saying thank you for running Rumplations. ππ€£π

Wow can you tell how many words you've written? How?
I have an Excel spreadsheet listing every story I have published here.
It covers the date published, title, and word count. So I have a running word count list. ππ
Personally, I think you should get a badge when you get to 250k, 500k, 750k, and 1 million words published, but unfortunately, that, at present, seems very unlikely to happen. π
With my Element competition published, by the way, that took me past three-quarters of a million words published on LushStories. I am currently working on 'Cash in Hand β 12', the final story in the series before I take a hiatus from writing about JJ, John, William and Earnest, the older lecherous men.
My next story after that will be in the Supernatural genre. A story I have been carrying around in my head for three years, as it is the one I wanted to finish my omnium badge with. Not sure when that will be written, as I'm not going to rush it, but it will be different!!! π
I am also reading all the comp entries, giving them a comment and a like. ππ

And to round things out, let's add some coffee-flavoured cuppycakes, chocolate cake, and almond croissants.
Just BTW, Lady Jay and I will be flying off to Paris on Friday arriving Saturday morning. Just spending three nights in the City of Light, then off to visit friends and family in Normandy!
Of course, we would arrive the day before France goes onto daylight savings time β¦ SOMEBODY is guilty of Bad Planning, and β of course β it can't be Lady Jayβ¦
Take care out there, folks!
Getting a might dangerous.
I will give you both a wave as you fly over the South of England.

But before you leave, could I have a mug of Yorkshire Tea, please, and some chocolate cake? π
Have fun in France, and when you are in Normandy, if you look north across the English Channel, I live right on the other side. However, even though you are a Polar Bear, I wouldn't recommend swimming to see me; it's just too far.
Just give me a  instead. ππ
Well, my story is in. The Beauty Within
As I mentioned above, I had two genres to write in for my omnium badge. Now it is down to one. This story has been published in the Trans genre, and therefore is very different for me. I hope you enjoy it.
Now, I will be reading, liking and commenting on all the other Elements competition entries. π
One big beautiful day of change...
TransA pot of Yorkshire Tea, please, Bear. π Thank you.
I'm just finishing up my Trans/comp story, just under 3,000 words, which I still need to edit and will probably turn into something closer to 3,500 words. ππ€£ Hopefully, I will send it to the moderators by the end of the week, within the comp word limit! π
Finally, spending some time today on my comp/trans story. Well, I'm out of my comfort zone, but Google helps me find out what I'm apparently missing in life. π³π€£ A mug of your finest Yorkshire tea, please, Bear. Thank you. π
BTW: it will be a few weeks before I submit "Cash in Hand - 12 - Part 1" and my 'tribute' π€£ to the 'hard' working staff of Rumplations. Oh! it is not that sort of tribute, before someone mentions it!!! π€£π€£π€£
