Oh and in terms of what I'm currently working on, a competition story for the Dirty Talk comp. And another piece set in Hell that I thought was going to become my comp piece but then I decided it needed more space than the imposed word limit so I'm developing the idea further. It has promise so may see the light of day after being on my drive for a couple of years untouched, with only one paragraph written in it until this week.

Over one million views on my stories can't be wrong, so please dive in and browse my 148 stories:

* 32 Editor's Picks, 84 Recommended Reads.
* 16 competition podium places, 12 other times in the top ten.
* 23 collaborations.
* A whole heap of often filthy, tense, hot sex.

And a hot story your Dirty Talk entry is, WBWS! I felt like I was in Paris again. But better!

The past few months, I've been working on getting more chapters of my Midlife Renewal series out. Given the balance between my busy personal life and the considerable number of hours I spend on each story, I'm lucky to get a story published every two months, but I continue working on it. The next chapter is mostly drafted, and I've got clear outlines written of the next three chapters after that.

That is on pause for the moment, however, while I polish my Dirty Talk competition entry, which will be entitled "No-Dating Policy." I started a few days ago with a never-published draft that was several years old ... and about 5000 words. The first full cutting of the fat chopped it nicely down to 3300 words, the second round to 2800, and a few more editing passes eased it below the 2000 word limit.

Like a good sword, it's getting better the more time I spend sharpening it. As I found with my entry in last year's Free Spirit comp, the length limit forces me consider the meaning, flow and impact of every single word. I have it down to 1700 words now, a buffer which may allow me to squeeze in even more spicy dialogue, should I dream it up. The end result should be a better, more competition-worthy story.

My rule for competition entries is not to submit until I can make a full pass through every word of the text without finding even one word I feel the need to change. That's still a few passes (and days) away,I think.

I’m working on my favorite solo story thus far—a mermaid tale. I hope to give you a beautiful story with a unique feel and check off the fantasy category, too. Should be ready to submit in a week or so. 😊

That sounds intriguing, Purdy. I think we are all kinda curious how mermaid sex actually works.

Yup, what to do with that tail??? Hmmm… 😀

Sage Silver agrees to spend her last spring break with her roommate and best friend, Lucy. Being a studious, straight-A nerd she had planned on the week off studying and maybe even getting laid. Instead, she's heading to a sleepy town in Ohio. They stay with Lucy's parents, a nice if not incredibly boring couple.

Sage begins to discover Lucy's mother, Miss Shear may be much more than the quiet librarian she seems to be. And perhaps her husband, Oscar, has dark secrets of his own.

Find out what will happen in 'Sage Silver, Broken on Break'.

I'm currently working on an extremely salacious entry to the Dirty Talk competition. I might actually finish this one. Of course, I've said that about many prior competitions, and a look at my story list will show you how well that worked out.

Now that The Last Dance - Part Two is published, I can focus on getting my comp story ready to submit.

Isn't that always the way? Scrambling to finish a story not only for the sake of getting it published, but to get it out of the way so we can focus on the next one?

I've actually had this story done for a while, but was on a cruise and then came home to chaos. So, finally getting it published lets me focus on editing the comp story to get it dirty enough. 😉

"Working" may not be the right word lately. I've hit a bit of a creative stretch, and have published 4 pieces in the last couple of weeks, including my competition entry, but it's honestly been more inspiration than effort. We'll see how long that lasts.

Don't believe everything that you read.

I'm holding my nose and giving "Watersports" a go. Seriously, no interest, no idea why it attracts people. But I'm six genres from omnium so I kind of have to😒 I'll do my best to make it work!

I am just going into my summer writing hiatus, where I let real life take priority, after a spell (with the omnium badge in mind) where I posted quite a few stories in different genres... I currently stand at 20/58 published genres.

Over the summer, I will work mainly on my fifth Novel - "The Three of Us" to publish it in October/November. That novel chapters will cover at least four more genres.

As for other stand-a-lone stories, to help get more readers following me, I am currently leaning towards the popular genres, MILF, Wife Lovers and Fantasy . However, a Steampunk story is also currently pulling on me. So we will see.

P.S. If I get enough likes on my male gay story - The Queens Head, I will write a second chapter.

I have one of those stories that could go Lush or SS. It's a rock star seeking a break from stardom and the grind of touring who returns to her old hometown and reconnects with old friends including her former voice coach and teacher. Sex could happen (I am eyeing a possible Sapphic hookup with the teacher) but hardly needs to. It could easily work, and might be better, as a tale of personal exploration and growth with more focus on relationships and romance than sex acts.

I may have a set idea for the Dirty Comp finally. Did an outline in my phone last night and I may start drafting today or tomorrow. Depends on how I feel when I look over the outline I jotted into my phone. I want to see if I can get all of what I thought of into 2000 words or less.

After that, I want to focus on cleaning up any completed drafts I have laying around. Also want to complete drafts I haven't and get them ready.

As for series, it will be quite some time (even though i have tons of ideas) before I get back to trying one of those. Think I want to focus mainly on stand-alones for a while.

This one is shaping up nicely. Hopefully it'll be hot enough in the depths of my imagination.

10/10 for the cover work!

Thank you ❤️ Hope the story lives up to it when it's finished.

I'm working on finishing up The Last Dance. It's been a very emotional story to write.

Labouring through 2 stories, Watersports and Uniform at the same time, and I have my idea for Femdom. But, honestly, I'm down to genres I have no experience of in real life and I'm finding it hard going at the moment.

With my comp entry up, nothing really. Keep going through my ongoing non-Lush projects for something to write but none of them seems to be engaging my interest right now.

Got the second part of Sage Silver submitted. I'm excited about this one, first part had a lot more establishing elements. Second part should be a wild ride for y'all!

This is my first post in here - fingers crossed

I'm working on a few of my stories at the same time, Oddly I find it helps as I can be churning ideas around in the back of my head while writing another towards publishing.

I've got a new chapter underway for the twins series, the date nights series, and the holiday series.

I'm stuck 3/4 way through a Josephine's story chapter - trying to work out a believable way to move it on

I'm slowly writing a negotiating the rent series and a baby sitter series chapter but it seems to be slow going

I have a completely new story series, that I have been working on for a while, I'm about 8,000 words in - the working title is the birthday club, it is about 2 single mums, who each have a son, one of the mums has a plan to keep them out of trouble, by promising a very special birthday treat as a reward for good behaviour. I think it has legs and a completely different slant on the genre.

anyway, thats my first post here, too long and wordy, but that's me.

It’s nice to know I’m not the only one working on multiple stories at once!

I have a micro awaiting approval. I have decided that the last part of The Last Dance needs to be split into two, so I’m in the editing phase there. I also have partially written chapters for Hot Wife Hotel, Boardrooms & Boudoirs, and The Office Whore. Beyond that I have a handful of stand alone stories that have been relegated to the end of the line.

Currently editing my comp story. Almost finished my second pass. Once that's done, it's on to the next stage of editing and then Grammarly and a final read.

I am not a writer so before you criticize me and rip a new orifice into me for my technique, give me a break. Last time I read or wrote anything was in high school.

I can never type that well, so I’m using a speech to text app in office. Relying on auto correction, and comparing to other stories here on this site as examples.

I may miss some commas quotes and other things, but I’m doing the best I can. I like listening to the stories here, nice change.

I use the read aloud app, just sitting back listening, with the Microsoft Zira voice, sweat and pleasant Immersing myself in the scene of your stories.

I’m about to pour out my fucking guts out here with a true story to make a mark somewhere before I pass. Seems there’s no one to listen to me anymore on life itself. I’m almost at 2300 words, so I guess it’s time for part two? keeping parts to around 2500 words?

For the last few years, I've done R & D work for UI "User interface" for Security Camera Systems and Point of Sale cash register systems.Dabbled in web design PHP, MariaDB, and UI scripting.

Hiya, I hope you find readers supportive, even when critiquing. I’ve not seen too many try to tear a new asshole in a writer. 😉 And you don’t have to have 2500-word parts to stories, but if your first publishing, a smaller story would probably be best. Your true story sounds like it will be an emotional read, so I look forward to reading it. And if you happen to get your story returned first try, just apply the mod’s suggestions and resubmit. Most of us have had stories returned at some point. 😊

Kindness is contagious. Spread it! ❤️
