Authors : What are you working on?

Oo, I might have an idea. There's this story set in a winter storm that's been in my head forever and with some tweaks to where I originally thought it would go, it might just do the job. Off to Libre Office!

I am still editing and rewriting the last part of my Learner to Legend series, which I want to bring to a satisfying conclusion. Also, I've been reading an excellent novel set in ancient Egypt (The Egyptian, by Mika Waltari) and it has inspired me to write a tale in that world. So sketching out ideas for that.

I have to do my Grammarly edit for my mature story I want to release in the beginning of December.

I have an idea for a comp story, so it's just to make notes and then start drafting.

I've been editing a cuckquean story that will hopefully earn release in December also.

If all works out, I could end up releasing 3 stories next month - 2 in the least.

I have an idea for the competition, but haven't fleshed it out yet. Was in London today, so I've been 'character spotting' and found some inspiration.

I'm working on yet another story. I know, many will be disgusted by that idea, but be prepare for your minds to be pleasantly exploded 😉.

I perpetually have ideas for that category but usually back down and nerf them.

Plugging away at a comp entry. My fifth or so try but this one seems to be progressing well. At least I know where it is going, unlike the first four.

Just finished a re-write of an older story prepping it to be voice acted by my partner. It was really interesting to see how much my writing improved since I started focusing on it.

I read the Dryad, I loved it.

I'm juggling three stories now and really should focus on just one! One set in ancient Egypt. A follow up to an early story of mine about wife swapping and also writing a very silly tale that was my alternate, rejected idea for the Christmas comp which I'm just writing for the fun of it!

A weird Western

I am currently working on my fourth novel titled Clare. I have 14 chapters completed and am currently finishing the last two. Not sure I am going to start posting them, there still a little polishing to be done. I might skip the Christmas competition but we see.

Umpteenth try at a comp entry, though this one is a return to one of the earlier ones thematically and plot-wise.

Since for the longest I wrote everything under one name, and I just came up with this one for all the future smut like stuff, I got a lot of work ahead of me. Luckily there's a few things I had started years ago, and an idea or three, that'll live on under this name, since I'm ceasing writing anymore of this under my other name. Sucks because I could repost some of it under this one, but I don't want the connection.

I'm finishing up a story where a guy is after the girl next door and gets the mom instead, and a noncon. I have some ideas, that might end up for the market.

I forgot to add; I've basically been doing, I guess you could call it nano fiction, on twitter, leavimg enough room for a tag or three.

My mature story ended up being the comp entry. What was to be the comp entry will be published another time. The cuckquean story is the next story to be released, hopefully this month.

I have a draft comp entry but it needs work and I am feeling horribly unmotivated these days. Still, I hope to take a swing at it tonight.

Finally got really going on my idea for a comp entry, with the first draft mostly done. Looking forward to turning this one in, but there's a lot of work ahead before I can do that.

Finished a first draft of my Christmas competition story. Now I just need to cut enough of it to fit the upper word limit (roughly an excess of 3.5K words, but I think I can do it). I seriously don't understand authors who feel challenged to string together just a couple thousand words. I have the opposite problem.

My comp entry is up so I am flailing right now. Lots of ideas but not really getting into any of them.

Yesterday, I published my first trans story (and second RR) and my husband mentioned "You must have done most of the categories now?"
This prompted me to work out how many I haven't done (15) so I'm sketching out ideas for the remaining genres. I've got my ideas for fetish, femdom and money and will start on them after work!

If you have the muse, it never leaves you permanently. Try thinking of one idea, writing a terrible draft, just write, and see what ideas come as you go! That always helps me.

Now I have finished the Festive Unexpected story, Swinging Into Christmas I will return to my fourth book, Clare.

"Clare" - Chapter 1:- “A Little About Me” The first two chapters are already up on LushStories. I am pleased to say, that all the future chapters are written subject to a final edit.

However, from January to March I am nothing but a tourist travelling around Australia. A little too old to be called a backpacker, but that is basically what I am doing though in a campervan.

I will have my laptop and will be dropping into Lushstories, but it is unlikely I will be writing anything new, including competitions.

Started editing a draft I scribbled at the beginning of the month rather than one I did early last month. Figured I would edit the shortest current draft I have since I recently published a 5.3K and 4.1K story. Give my readers' eyes a little less screen time for my next offering.

I may alternate between editing my single story drafts and my series for the next month while working in outlines and more drafts in between. Trying to keep busy with my writing more than I usually would.
