OK, I'm in, Trink. Here's the thing.

1. I was treated for prostate cancer (no, it's not the same, I know, I know) 21 years ago.
My cancer was discovered by mistake when an exam that would be routine for a man of 50 and over
was accidentally performed on me when I was 46, and my first PSA result was 21.
Moral: GET EXAMINED.

2. My mother was treated for breast cancer 22 years ago, when she was 66. She's 88 now and still very feisty.
Her cancer was also discovered in a routine exam.
Moral: GET EXAMINED.

3. My wife was treated for breast cancer 9 years ago, at 59. She's 68 now and her doctors don't even want to
see her any more because there's no cancer to look at. Once again, her cancer was discovered in a routine
mammogram.
Moral: GET EXAMINED.

Here are my tatas, not that they're all that interesting, but you asked. (I also want Sprite to do something, anything.)

And finally, it seemed like a good idea to give something to BCRF, so I did that a few minutes ago.
Here's the receipt:

A guy messaged me to tell me I should post in this thread and I came to check it out. A big thank u to Trinket for creating it and I'm so inspired by all the girls and guys who have participated. I hope we can raise enough money to help find a cure.

I am a breast cancer survivor. I had a stage one tumor removed followed by radiation. Two years cancer free.

And hopefully many more to come (cancer free years that is).

Since there are bound to be herds of guys poring over this thread, I am thinking that it should be pointed out that men can and do get diagnosed with BRCA. However, due to various things--men being reluctant to see their physician or other medical practitioner, male BRCA not being on the radar of entirely too many medical professionals--men tend to be correctly diagnosed at much later stages than are women, and are much more likely to succumb either to the cancer itself having metastasized to major organs, or to the aggressive chemotherapy required after a late-stage diagnosis.

Guys, particularly if your mother, any of your mother's sisters, or any of your sisters have been diagnosed with premenopausal BRCA, please don't ignore anything odd that sprouts up in one of your breasts (yup, they're still breasts--albeit vestigial ones). If your provider blows off your concerns, find another provider posthaste. Keep pushing until you have an explanation for whatever bizarreness is going on in your breast. Do not allow your concerns to be dismissed as worry, and if you have to, ask pointed questions, like "Oh, do men not get breast cancer?". Be your own advocate.

I will give a little peek ?

Just one of the causes that is close to my heart.

I do not need to be entered in the drawing I just posted because it was for a very noteworthy cause, Thank you Trinket for making everyone aware of such a great cause.

Not sure why my pic got flipped. hehehe.

My gf had a picture up here and I sort of told her to take it down well now im feeling guilty cause this is for a good cause so I'm going to have her post it back up and I will post one up of me to support the cause too.
I DID NOT start this thread for anyone to post disrespectful comments about any of the breasts on it. Please don't or I will shut it down.

it takes a lot of courage for women and some men to show this part of themselves, including me. The least the rest of you can do is RESPECT these people. It's not a joke. Comments like that are not funny.

Just because this thread is full of breasts that you can see, doesn't mean you need to make a Pervy comment on them.

thank you.

I agree with you and thanks for posting and talking about this. Yes, many people still thinks that is just a Girl issue and it is not.

I have to admit that in my case, yes, was hard to see a doctor and ask what those things that noticed were.

The important thing as many have posted is to check ourselves and keep observing our bodies for any change. Also, I think is important that we talk about the topic with our beloved ones. Sadly, I have known of many cases in which someone got Cancer and they don't want to tell because why to worry. And, I am sure is much less harder to go through alone. Besides, they deserve to be there for us.

I am glad that this is not longer a . Thanks to each ofmyou who have posted because I am learning and growing. Yes, I am too shy, but I am glad to be here with all of you.
I already have a gold membership. However, I do support breast cancer research, so I will show you boobies. Promise not to laugh.

Ruthie why you think someone will laugh? Thanks for helping and supporting breast cancer research.

I just watch a video in Spanish about a new technology that will do mammography with infrared light. Video link

Run this picture through google images and see what horrible similar images it returns. One of them is a man's chest, another is a man's back, one is a woman's nose and lips. I can't understand that last one. Anyway, thanks. You too Gael.

Then google images is an asshole. Your picture is quite lovely and I hope they always remain just as they are there. Healthy and free of any cancer.
