What do you mean by 'to add to them'?

If you mean copy a story that is not your story to add to them, I would assume that is precisely why the ability to copy/paste other people’s stories is deactivated

And nothing discussed in that thread has changed. We authors retain copyright on our stories. Posting them here does not put them in the public domain any more than publishing them in a magazine would. If you have a specific story that you wish to "add to", ask the author. It's their prerogative to decide what can and can't be done with their work. But we had cases in the past of stories being scraped from the site and republished elsewhere without reference to Lush and that's a no go so the ability to do so has been limited as much as the site can do. And even if you find a way to get around those limits, that doesn't make doing so right.

That’s an extremely relevant thread, and its OP even stated the same intent: to make changes to the story to make it more relevant, in that case to read it to his wife. The answer is still a hard NO.

It’s not just plagiarism (which is not generally illegal). It’s copyright infringement (which IS). I’ve invested thousands of hours of blood, sweat, tears and cum into writing my stories, and although I don’t expect to ever make a dime from it, they remain my intellectual property. You may read and enjoy and masturbate to these stories, but your rights end there.

There are so many tens of thousands of stories on here, covering every possible kink and quirk. If you’re still unsatisfied and feeling the need to customize, then you know what you need to do. Start writing your own. And the important part of that is your own. If you’re not confident in your abilities, there is a whole writing-tips forum dedicated to helping you learn. And if the formal publishing process is too much, you can always post something to one of the groups.
