Duct tape can fix everything there ever was EVER but my method doesn't require tape at all. When it is my mothers birthday It is a family tradition of ours for one of us to wrap her gift in a towel. Not a new towel but most probably one of hers. The tradition was started a few years ago when my brother had forgotten to buy gift wrap for her gift. Being a quick thinker, he grabbed a towel, wrapped it around her gift and handed it to her.

We were all speechless and looking from our mother to my brother and back again wondering how she was going to take this. She looked at him, gave him a disdainful look then giggled while she unwrapped it so every year we all take turns wrapping her gift in a towel. She never knows which one of us it will be.
