seriously, though, thank you, and I am humbled. this site and especially the people on it give me back as much as i have given over the past 11 years and i feel blessed that Nicola has let me be so much of a part of it. so thank you to everyone who has posted and to everyone who had touched my life here. it means a lot.

First, Nicola, great idea, just brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! So well-deserved.
Rach, what can I say? I searched the internet, my files, everything for a very special gif or meme that would convey my thoughts, but there just ain't nuthin' like that, so I'll subject you to reading them instead.
You're a true friend, not just a "friend". You're there to offer advice or a kind word when needed or a reality check if that's required instead. You may be the most generous, giving, caring person I know, and not just to me, but to anyone you run across that needs a shoulder or a hug or a helping hand. You, my friend, are unique - in a good way, not like my weird brother.
I've admired your wit, your creativity, your energy and intelligence and your ability to empathize (and of course your cute ass, etc...) but I think maybe most of all I admire your passion. You and I don't always agree (and wouldn't that be boring if everyone did?) but you unfailingly argue your views with intelligence, compassion, and well thought-out and articulate positions and never, ever are the first to attack, call names, or belittle the views of others no matter how far apart you may be. Now, if they go there first they may awaken your inner Ninja, but then they've earned it! I'm a little on the fence about whether you're a soft and gentle lady with a core of steel or a granite warrior with a heart of gold, or maybe a little of each, but whichever, you wear it with grace and style.
I could go on (and usually do...) but I'll close with this: It is my pleasure and privilege to have met you and gotten to know you a little bit. I hope to get to know you even better in the years ahead and I'm proud and honored to call you my friend. Love ya, lady!

Rachel~I don't think there is much more I can say that hasn't already been. I hope you know how priceless you are not only to the site but so many people as well. I am thankful for many things you've done here but none moreso than Projectsemicolon. You've given people a safe place to talk and support each other. You are always supporting anyone who needs it.
I'm also very appreciative up the little messages you leave to check to make sure I am doing ok or just to say hi. I am honored to say you're a friend.
