I have one scene. 220 words. It's a start.

Or one very long run on sentence lol smile

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

I always put in the punctuation last.

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

This is a great excuse for me to write that text adventure spoof that's been in the back of my head; present tense and second-person POV have never felt so easy! I wrote 1800 words of funny non-sex stuff over the past 24 hours, then wrote one sentence of sex and decided to take a break. 😅

18+ Only

After throwing my hand in, earlier than I normally would, I'm working my way through the entries so far. Some wildly inventive approaches to the competition theme. Looking forward to more landing.

Nightingale

In a locked down world where virtual sex is on tap, Tyler finds dealing without it difficult.

I’m in. And sorry, I’m sure you all wanted to use penguins in your story, but I did it first. 🐧 🤣🤣

I'm going to see penguins in a few weeks but had never thought of using them in a story, least of all for here.

On a difficult journey home, Kate finds love and sex in a fellow traveler.

Kate Meets Martin

And I first introduced Kate as a university student whose first time kind of sets the stage for her new story.

Kate Kissed Keith

Ladies and gentleman, we have a plot! (Just no words yet).

If you want some positive vibes, Ensorceled, you are way ahead of me. I'm hoping to take my first real look at this comp by the middle of the week, so currently, no ideas and definitely no words... 😳😈

862 words drafted Thursday night. Will re-read tomorrow and compare to outline and see how to proceed.

Great to hear, Carlton. I'm looking forward to reading it.

How is yours coming, Piquet?

I finished my story last night, at over 5600 words, then hacked away at the unnecessary stuff to get it down to 4997. Now I need to read through it for a final cleanup. It's a quirky format, and I think the story is clever and fun, but it could fall flat with anyone under age 45. Only one way to find out!

I'm going to write a story where I enter this competition and win first, second and third prizes. That way, when the real winners are announced, they'll think they are in an alternate reality.

I'm a fossil on the wrong side of that cut-off, and remember the old text adventures. Audience of 1 guaranteed.

Make that 2, the only technical hitch being I need to write my own entry first! 😳😈

Audience of three. I'm solidly in this camp. I just wrote a thing about cassette tapes!

Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit)
Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex)
Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)

Okay. A thousand words in. I'm giving this story one week to get its shit together.

I'm in! Wife Hacking is a little postapocalyptic love story of humans coming together with the help of voyeuristic robots on an Iowa farm. VR sex, bot-assisted remote sex, voyeurism and in-person human sex are all here.

Which of these kinds of sex is best? Go with the Iowa Farm Girl. Always.

Wife Hacking

Problems with my ‘wife’ lead to a much bigger upgrade than expected.

Voyeur

The way I’m interpreting the brief, it sounds like it’s pretty wide open as long as you include simulated sex. Read the contest page as thoroughly as you can. If you have any specific questions about whether an idea qualifies, this thread may be as good a place to ask ask any.

I'm about halfway through writing my entry, and the way I read Jen's brief does seem to suggest it is pretty wide open as to what meets the contest criteria. 😊

While trying not to give away the plot to my story. 🙄... I believe you could write a story on just about anything and close with the line, "Then he/she woke up, and it was all an erotic dream," and it would meet the brief and win you a "Simulation Contest Badge." Though almost certainly not the contest! 🤣😈

Then again, I "might" be wrong! 😲🤣
