What if there is a "top 11" or "top 12" listed? Ive seen it a few times and one of mine was in a "top11" and got an honourable mention, (no RR though, which I find hilarious). The scores were too close to call it otherwise or something. I always thought it was a bit unfair the story had no visible type of recognition.

I wrote visible recognition. Nobody knows it got one unless I tell them. My story was the first ever comp story that got an HM and not an RR. I don't understand how a story can get an HM in a comp and not be good enough for a RR.

A post in the site improvements thread, made me realise, it would be nice if more credit were given, to those who are placed in the Top 10 in our competitions.

So, in future, all competitions will have a Top 10 listed, and each member making the list, will be automatically given a "Competition Top 10" badge.

Next week, I'll go through the results of all our previous competitions, and manually assign the badge to those who featured in the Top 10's.

Thank you so much for this. I've only scored in the Top 10 so I do feel recognized for earning such an accomplishment. Honestly, I'm not sure how many times I've place Top 10 so it will be fun to see what my number ends up being.

Mine too. I know Nic added them all manually. I wonder if they're trying to automate it. So create lists of the top 10 for each comp, so that in future, the badge happens automatically when the top 10 list is generated.

Or maybe they're tinkering w it so it's one of those badges w numbers.
