Everything I said was simply a summary of the various site announcements over the past few months and my knowledge that coding is hard. The post at the top of this thread specifies it is only for technical issues, not feature requests and that migration is ongoing. On the first page it was suggested people note the latter down for later.

Prior to yours, I don't remember seeing any single clear explanation about the circumstances of the enforced changes. I never saw three options defined anywhere.

This is a bug report, if a somewhat meta one. Lack of communication. 

Managing expectations is very important for such a massive change, but the entire process has been done with scant regard to members - upon whom the site is entirely dependent for content. 

I know this is not the forum thread to post into. However I am just wanting to respond to your comments here. Nicola did post 3 months ago in the Site Announcement/Feedback section here in the Site Related part of the Forums. A Thread Titled "Upgrades and Changes to Lush". In that thread Nicola made it clear that Lush was going to change. She even listed some of the expected changes.

To be fair, there are many who don't use the Forums at all. I don't spend any time in there (though I knew about the changes coming) - I didn't even know it existed for my first year. It's not the best way to cascade communications.

I was in the "My Media" section on my profile. I was trying to set up some albums & add pics to them. After creating 2 albums & adding 1 pic to 1 of the albums I am now getting an "error page" I have logged out of Lush, cleared history, cleared cache, shutdown my laptop, walked away from Lush (& laptop) for a few hours. After logging back in & clicking "My Media" I still get sent to the "error page"
The page says
"An error occurred
An error occurred during execution; please try again later"

I know there are many other bugs that need fixing. This is not urgent for me, personally. Just thought I would add it here as I had not seen any other posts like this one.

To all the people working behind the Scenes - Thankyou for all your hard work.

Regarding this issue - It seems to have fixed itself, or the developers have fixed it for me. Either way Thank You.

For about a week I wasn't getting any emails through from lush, but as of today I am.

And the issue of UK people being insulted by US flags has been sorted. Lush members now seem to have a LS label instead of a flag.

I noticed the LS tag when I went into a chatroom a bit earlier. It shows in some rooms, but not in others. And in some rooms I am seeing other flags, but not US flags.  So does this mean ALL lush members now show as LS and none of us get flags, but the SH people do?

Everyone in Lush now has a Lush 'flag', yes. I haven't personally seen anyone from any other sites able to enter any of the Lush rooms, so I'm not sure that they are able to. 

You haven't looked hard enough then. They are in nearly every lush room. And most of the men that come into the lush version of the ladies room are SH members, as are the couples. And why don't we get our own country flags? Or is that something that will come later?

Can we please keep this thread to reporting bugs. Thanks 

Edit. Yes, I have removed posts. If you want a discussion on the decisions made re the site or have ideas, feel free to PM me, but I'm trying to keep this thread clutter free for the developers to scan. Thanks.

I'm not doing that - there's enough italics in that story and the current editor is stripping out all formatting. I'm not going through it all putting it all back in.

It would be nice to be able to add a story to one's Reading Queue directly from the latest stories page as could be done on the old sitte.

"I'd like to know more . . .". 

And they all have the same body: "Oh hey there!

If this is the type of crap I can expect, I would like to discuss a refund of my Gold status because I am not going to be posting again.  I've published over 190 stories, I have an Omniun Badge that I was surprisingly proud to have earned in less than 3 years, but these emails indicate that this site is turning from a place to spend time, read quality stories and meet interesting people to something I don't recognize  and do not wish to be a part of.  Please tell me this is some sort of bug.  If not, please tell me how I can download my stories like we used to be able to on the old site and I will pack my bags and go elsewhere.  I am very unhappy right this minute.

Submitting saved stories is now WORKING!!!!!! YAY!

I submitted it and it appeared half way down my list of published stories - seems it went into a position for 9 Aug when I uploaded it to Lush V1. It has the blue banner for Story Pending. But they are moved from unpublished to published - it really needs to come out on the top though. So hopefully the mods will adjust the date that it is currently showing.

Either the verified member option is switched off or does not work. Some members have been asking for this.

The link to the upgrade page is rather misleading since it implies we only have gold to offer.

We (Myself and AimeeTison ) under her gold membership built this room last night. She built it with pics enabled, I cannot with my silver membership, I could on the old Lushstories. It worked fine and everyone from the old room were so happy that we could once more chat and show pics from outside the site. This morning we tried again and we could not show pics this time. This restriction is really going to kill us off slowly. We are becoming more and more bullied by the cd's in the global room because we bitch among ourselves about it there. ( We can no longer post pics in that room either from off site Pictures links) We need our old room made permanent under the regional Rooms Banner. Most people are already looking for another site to reassemble on, you are going to loose many of us if these restrictions do not change. We will form another revolution from under the queens (UK) rule if you do not get you act together.

It’s seems as if it’s intermittent as I had it earlier on my iPad but not on my iPhone, iPad now ok 🤞but got it on my iPhone 

The tech guys are still intermittently working on things, so every time they post an update, the site will go offline for a short while. I'd expect this to continue over the next week anyway. It's usually back up within minutes

I think the publishing side of stories still has bugs. I successfully posted a story from my saved stories today and I've just noticed that the parts that were in italics (as posted from Lush v1) are no longer in italics when the story is now published. The formatting has been stripped, but it was there before I pressed the submit button.

When I enter a permanent chatroom the chat box at the bottom of the screen is either greyed out or not there. When i create a room myself that box works perfectly but the pvt chat ( whispers) function won't let me speak

Thanks Jen!  I was shocked more than anything at that sort of SPAM email.  Whatever they are using as a basis for this site now isn't as well suited as I think it was thought.  So many missing pieces and then adding in SPAM like that!

This is now available if you just click into the story, thanks. It should pop up at the bottom of the screen

On the old site, we could add to the reading queue without leaving the stories page. It would be great to get that back.

When you select and go to a story, the author does not appear anywhere except at the very end. I sometimes open several windows when I (used to) receive PMs indicating that authors I follow have new stories, then read them at my leisure. Now I have no idea who wrote a story until I reach the end.

Not a big deal, but an annoying detail.
