Some time ago, my family watched a TV show called Fantasy Island. When a commercial came on, we would go around the room to see what everyone wanted to take or have on their island. This was a weekly family tradition, even when my brothers were at scout camp or overnights. And our ideas changed weekly, except for moms! After my brothers, sister, and dad said what they wanted, my mom always said, "My usual Diet Coke, Chees...

I grabbed my suitcase out of her hands and shut it, saying as calmly as I could, “I did no such thing. I won that fair and square, and that money is mine.” My mother glared at me and put her hands on her hips. Her face was beet red. She was so mad that she had to wipe the spittle from her mouth. Then she told me what she really thought: “I know you and what you are. You are nothing but a slut. A little whore who sucks and...

It was another morning at the Fair. I awoke groggily when Shawn came in, got something out of the fridge, and left to do his work as the CEO of the Fair. I was somewhat chagrined at the fact that yesterday it looked like I’d be sharing a bed with my new girlfriend, Fran, or possibly even Shawn, but I ended up sleeping on the pull-out sofa bed. Admittedly, it had been a wild day, yesterday. I had met Fran and was immediate...

It feels like a lifetime ago—I was twenty, carefree, and enjoying the quiet lull of summer after the intensity of finals. At the time, I was still a virgin—not by intention, but because the right girl had never crossed my path. Everyone else in this story has long since passed, and aside from Marj, no one ever knew what unfolded during those two remarkable days. When Auntie Marj died, she left a shoebox for me—sealed and...

"Good evening. This is the captain. I have an important announcement; please listen carefully. A major storm will pass close ahead of the ship tonight. All guests are kindly asked to make sure their possessions are safely stored. Please take care as you move around. The stabilisers are operating, but the ship may pitch violently at times. Thank you." ._.. Alone in Stan's suite, I sat on a sofa in his sitting room. He was...

I sat at my desk, my chin resting on steepled hands, trying to make sense of Janet and her predicament. Hard knocks on the door startled her, and Janet hid her hands in her face. Doctor Smythe and a nurse came in. I looked up at him. "I don't think Janet is fully fit to work; she nearly passed out a little while ago." The nurse knelt beside Janet and whispered so softly I could hardly hear the words. "Janet, you know me;...

It had been an eventful morning for me. My name is Janet and I am nineteen years old. I think I’m reasonably attractive, though a bit heavy. Some call me voluptuous, probably because of my curves and big breasts. They are a nice, full D-cup size. Whatever the case, I seem to have no problem attracting male attention. For some reason, older men are drawn to me. I sometimes wonder if that is because they somehow sense how m...

In my youth, my family became apiarist or honey farmers. Within that time we found out about a local bee association. And that's when my siblings and I realized our summers were not our summers anymore. For Many summers after, the first year my family started helping out at the State Fair with the Beekeepers Association. My dad had gotten involved with the other beekeepers, and I went with my parents often, so the other m...
